Ttc#1 2nd month on clomid & hostile cm

Hello!!
Hubby and I have been ttc baby#1 for 3 mos now
We've gotten a hsg done to rule out any blockages or problems with the tubes or uterus, tubes are clear and uterus is looking good.
Went in for a ultrasound which was vaginal to make sure I've been ovulating, and ruling out pcos and anything that may come in the way and were clear of that doc says I'm ovulating fine. I have a normal 28 day cycle and period always come on time, and so on. Well 1st month we tried naturally and didn't get pregnant. 2nd month my doc had me on clomid 50mg and estradiol I had NO symptoms except for when I was getting ready to
Ovulate I had very discomforting cramps, and abdominal pain. Used opk and had my surge on cd 14 well we didn't get pregnant that month and I had my cycle the day I was sappose too. Well this is our 3rd month trying and I was put on 100mg of clomid estrodial and this time he added progesterone I am on cd 12 today. Well i noticed in not really producing any cm, and scared I might be hostile down there I've been taking robituasin to try to thin out my cm but is there anything I can do to help this problem I have?? I ovulate in 2 days and i need ideas!!! Thanks soo much and baby dust to you all!!!!

Hi! Just wondering...if you are already ovulate on your own why are you on clomid? Im on my third round 100mg and trying robitussin and pre-seed! fingers crossed for both of us xxoo

Sorry I'm very confused.

Why are you on clomid if you ovulate on you own and have only been trying 3 months? It's probably the clomid affecting your CM and personally I'd at least give it time to conceive naturally. Clomid has some awful side effects and risks, It'd def only be a last resort for me (but before injectables/IUI/IVF).

Even with no problems there is only a 15-20% chance of conceiving. On average it can take up to a year for a healthy couple to conceive.

Is a gynae you are seeing?

He wanted to better my chances of conceiving I believe knowing me I'm all up for anything that will up my chances as long as I've read thoroughly into it. Good luck to you and hope you get your bfp!!!!

Bean66 Yes I'm seeing a RE whom believes by putting me on clomid it sappose to double my chances of conceiving although I am ovulating normal and such, and you don't sound rude at all!! I hope you get ur bfp as well, and hopefully this cycle is the ONE!!!

That's amazing. Over here if you are under 35 you can't even get a referral to a FS unless you have been trying for 1 year.
