TTC #1 Convinced Im pregnant but all tests are negative to date

Hi guys,

Wondering if I could get some advice on my symptoms that I have been having. Currently my husband and I are ttc. We had unprotected sex several times throughout the month, including multiple times during ovulation. I ovulated on the 7th of this month and had sex on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 9th and 14th. I have been having tender breasts, cramping, nausea, headaches, backaches and the pigment around my areoles is enlarged. These symptoms have been present now for a little more than a week now and I do not normally get any symptoms of AF coming. AF is supposed to come on the 21st but we are very excited and have been trying to see if early tests will prove to come up positive; none have yet Also my cervix is high, soft and feels closed which is abnormal being this close to AF ?? What does everyone think ? Could I be pregnant? These symptoms, especially the breast tenderness, enlargement and pigmentation changes seem very odd considering that I have never seen this before.

I also just have a feeling of being full alllllll the time .... I feel pregnant but why the heck will the test not show it !

The only way to know is to take a HPT. If you're getting BFNs, try testing every 2-3 days. A BFP can show up as late as 1 week after expected AF. If you keep on getting BFNs after this time and still no AF, try calling your GP to get a blood test done.

Symptom spotting isn't a very reliable way to tell if you're pregnant or not, especially if you've never been pregnant before. The progesterone you produce after O mimics pregnancy symptoms and it can be very hard to tell if it's PMS or pregnancy.

It can take 1 year to get pregnant and you have a 15-20% chance each cycle. Good luck!

No one here can tell you if you are pregnant. You should go to your doctor for a blood test.

It's interesting because it shows that about 32% of pregnant women don't get a bfp on as late as 12 dpo. I myself am 12dpo and think i'm pregnant. Be patient, you aren't out until AF shows and it could just be you won't get a positive until a few days later. You have been testing pretty early up to this point so don't worry yet. Last bfp I got was negative on 11dpo and positive 12dpo so it's possible!
