Ttc 6 months after cs....

I will be afraid of my scar splitting in 10 days, weeks, months, or years! Haha

Frsttimemama, I am so very sorry for your loss. You seem to be staying so strong...I know I'd be completely distraught if I were in your shoes. I'm sure it's been beyond devastating for you and your family. Take care, and I hope you conceive again soon.

My daughter is 4 1/2 months old, and we are waiting until she is a year old before we TTC again. I'm 35 years old, and Hannah was our first child. In about a month and a half, once she's 6 months, I'll be starting to take my prenatal vitamin again, along with my B-50 complex, baby aspirin, and ubiquinol (which I'll be taking to promote healthy eggs), since I'm now in the "advanced maternal age" category. For me, either it happens again, or it doesn't. After two consecutive miscarriages prior to Hannah, we feel so blessed to be parents once over...two children would just be heaven on Earth for us. But, we're going to give it a shot. Not looking forward to joining the ttc rat-race again, but, when you're my age, you have to give it the old college-try, you know? LOL!

Thank you. We are doing pretty well. All we can do is stay strong. We have our moments, but I'm sure we will probably always have those moments. We often remind ourselves that God gave us this situation for a reason, even if we don't know what it is yet and how lucky we were to be able to enjoy him for the 39 weeks that we had him in my tummy. I also remind myself that surely if He took this little guy, He will bless us with a baby that we can keep, too.

I was told that I had PCOS prior to my pregnancy with our son, so I plan not to take any birth control precautions and start trying again as soon as we can. It took 10 months the last time to get pregnant, but only about 1 after I was told that I had PCOS.. hopefully losing the weight I gained from the previous pregnancy will help jump start things.

Good luck on your journey; hopefully it's quick and smooth for you. What is the purpose of the baby aspirin??

I had a c section in feb 2010 at 24 weeks with my little boy - sadly he only lived 2 days but within 3 months I was pregnant again and she also came early at 26 weeks via c section which meant 2 c sections less than 9 months apart. Granted, my babies weren't your average sized newborns but it was a major operation all the same and thankfully it didn't cause any damage.

Do you know if your second C-section at 26 weeks was due to having it so soon after? Or completely unrelated?
