TTC after 5 week miscarriage

We tried for 6-7 months to get pregnant and finally got a BFP which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 5 weeks. Its been a week since i started bleeding and now my bleeding is beginning to taper off.

I'm looking for some encouragement on how soon people conceived after CP/early miscarriage. Did you ovulate as usual?

I had an early mmc (stopped growing at 5.5 weeks), ended with a d&c at 10 weeks. After the bleeding stopped, I ovulated and got pregnant immediately. Unfortunately, that was a CP, but I don't think it was related, just unlucky.

One of my best friends had an early miscarriage this year, immediately got pregnant and has a strong 15 week baby flipping around in her tummy

It's absolutely possible to get pregnant right away! I've even heard you're more fertile after a loss (esp. a natural one) because your body's all geared up for it.

I am sorry for your loss. I have experienced 3 early miscarriages and a cp. Unfortunately I haven't managed to conceive quickly after them but many ladies do, it is possible. After each one my cycle went back to normal straight away. I ovulated just over 2 weeks after the bleeding started. Good luck I hope you get your rainbow soon!

Sorry for your loss

I've had 3 mc, after the first 2 my cycles return fairly quickly, I let my body have a full cycle and normal period first with both so all was well and conceived 1st cycle & 2nd cycle. My 3rd mc was a long and drawn out recovery and I think it's taken just over 4 months to ovulate/cycle normally. All mc were natural and 7-9weeks gestation. So anything can happen! I think I read you are extra fertile for a few months, not just that first cycle. Good luck
