Hi. My husband and I have been ttc for 2 years now with no luck. This is the first time I have reached out to other females going through the same thing. We've seen a fertility doc and everything is good with both of us. Is this everyone's first time trying for a baby or do you have children already? If so, how long did it take you to conceive your other children?

Welcome! I'm TTC #1 for about 2 years as well. No known issues, but my husbands numbers are just ok. Best of luck to you! This forum is nice to have to know other people are struggling too sometimes :)

I'm in the same situation as you ladies. TTC for nearly 2 years, no luck.

Three months ago we started going through infertility diagnostic tests, and so far they have only been able to say that I have abnormally high FSH levels on CD 3. They think I'm ovulating right as AF is showing. I'm getting my next CD 21 test on Friday, so hopefully that will explain more to my DH and I. DH will also be getting his SA on Saturday, and then I will be getting my HSG test in two weeks after AF has left.

So far, the only thing that has been said to me is that I will most likely be starting Clomid after all of the tests are back. I don't have much faith in Clomid, however. This will be #1 for DH and I. I never knew how heartbreaking this journey could be. :( I thought it would be much, much easier.

arizonagal, did your doctor offer to do IUI before the end of the six cycles of clomid? I didn't know what the standard protocol was on this.

My husband was checked as well and his little dooders were just ok too and he was told to start taking a multivitamin. We haven't been back since he started the vitamin. We just moved to a small rural town in CO from FL and there really isn't any fertility specialists in our area :( I just keep hoping this next cycle will be the one. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Baby1day, Mbrink, Arizonagal...I as well am "normal" husband good too. I had lap/hyst surgery in July, they found Stage 1 Endometriosis and removed the 2 small spots they found....nothing in my uterus, tubes, ovaries thank goodness. We have been TTC since Jan 2011, with no luck as of yet. I hope and pray we all get our BFP's very soon...but until then its so nice to know I'm not alone. We have been on Letrozole 2.5mg for 4 months now...in hopes of me releasing 2 eggs instead of 1...for increased chances of fertilzation. After that...January 2013 we discuss IUI...fingers crossed Mother nature helps me out!
