TTC looking for buddies!

Hello Ladies! I am looking for buddies to go through this with, but can't figure out how to find threads that are not super old already. We are just on our third month ttc #2, but am amping up the natural assistance and monitoring this time - temps, OPKs, cm, green tea, etc - would love to share the journey and talk through it all with others!

Where are you in your cycle?
I am cd4 so coming to end of af.
This is our 8th cycle ( I think- starting to lose track) ttc#2.

This cycle I am trying grapefruit juice, conceive plus, soft cups, temping and I think ill try monitoring cm but I get a bit confused with what's what with cm!

Hi Fuschia! I am on CD3, so we are pretty close. I am maybe going to try the grapefruit juice idea, because why not, right? But am a little confused - do you just drink a glass a day? Starting when? I never monitored my cm before so am not sure ifI need the extra help there or whatever but I guess it can't hurt... How old is your other child? I am trying to enjoy this calm part of the ttc cycle - before all the obsessive checking starts haha.

The grapefruit juice- most people seem to drink a glass a day from af- ov.

I started today! Had a pretty big glass-.might have a bit smaller going forward. .. its not very nice! !

Im the same' not sure if I need more or not but im hoping it might help to get lots of this ewcm rather than me wondering- is this it or not! ?

My daughter is 2 - dob 6.2.12.

Im going to my reflexology tonight and can't wait!

Hmm. Am going to try the juice starting today if I can get to the store. My daughter is 7, and quite eager herself to have a little sibling! Is the reflexology about fertility, or relaxation in general? sounds lovely. I had massages every week throughout my first pregnancy (lived in Mexico and they were inexpensive) and I am thinking now that having them throughout all this TTC would be pretty awesome too, ha! Did it take you long to conceive your LO?

I wad 6.5 when my brother was born and I remember wanting a baby sister so much! Then of course my brother was born !

We actually conceived my daughter 1st time.

Things different between then and now though- my hubby had put weight on- we now have a toddler! !!- I had an emergency section followed by a nasty uterus infection so who knows if that has left my uterus in a slightly less than mega fertile state it started in- I hope not! !

How long did it take you to conceive your daughter?

Reflexogy- well its mainly for fertility reasons my lady is a fertility and pregnancy specialist. However obv it is very relaxing! And I guess that's just as helpful!

I still need to drink my grapefruit juice today!

Hi! My daughter was not planned, so this is totally different. That sounds pretty traumatic - the cesarean and aftermath! Hopefully you can have a smooth healthy pregnancy and birth...
We live in California now, I do research in Mexico so have lived there on and off. Where are you?
Reflexology sounds lovely!
Have you used the OPKs before? I have them ordered and am excited to try them out, as temping seems helpful only in hindsight. If for nothing else, all of this stuff makes me realize that even though I felt quite in tune with my body etc I am still learning!

I live in Kent, England! So we are quite a way away!

Reflexology really is lovely and I can't wait to go back just before ovulation! If nothing else it is calming me and not making me feel so crazy about it all!
Which opks have you ordered? I used the clear blue digital 1s for a couple of cycles. I didn't use them last cycle and I temped instead but I want to do both this time as like you say temping is only helpful when it's too late!

Im feeling really keen to get cracking this cycle with bding!

That's different for me cos usually we just manage once or twice a month near ov!

Im working out a lot and I think that might be helping my overall mood

hey am looking for TTC buddies, planning on ttc#2. Trying for 5 months so far, but testing properly with ovulation kits tommorow. I am now on a 28 day cycle, used to be 25 day cycle. So will see what happens. I am exhausted trying lol

We are both cd 5 and 6 .

It is tiring isn't it!

I have been trying 7 months - I think this is month 8.

Some months we have tried more than others!

Im debating with myself when to start bding this month!

I usually get my first flashing smiley cd15 and ovulate cd 17. So a while off but I we have been awful at bding regularly so this cycle I really want to go the other way x

I was using cheap ovulation tests but I don't find it very good, I just want a flashing smiley like a big kid lol. I know I'm debating whether to stop bding then try just before I ovulate but it's hard work trying to decide. How old is you dd? My wee girl will be 4 in September, me and my OH just took her to dancing this morning x

My dd is 2 and anthro 's is 7 so quite a range here!

yeah Rachel goes to tap and ballet, the ages are quite a range. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I got my first flashing smiley this morning after BDing last night too lol I'm going to be exhausted!

Woo hoo! It's satisfying getting a smilely isn't it. I reckon you will have another flashing tomorrow then your peak the day after

I checked and I have 8 clear blie advanced sticks left from 2 months ago so will start testing cd11 I tthink.

Bit concerned that the tester will run out of battery though. .. I used it 2 cycles ago and the cycle before that so I hope it still works!

Yeah it's good to get a smiley face, I don't think this test is the advanced one as it only pinpoints 2 days but it is digital how are u today? Sundays are so boring

Is it purple?

The advanced one has a flashing smiley then a solid smiley. Often I get 2 flashing then I get my solid.

The nkn advanced just gets a solid smiley when lh is detected. The advanced picks up the hormone before that. The idea being that it gives you a longer warning so you can get bding sooner.

Im good. Had a busy Sunday starting with the gym and ending with house work... got a roast in int he middle!
We started bding last night. .. hubby thought he won the lottery so unlike us- let's hope we can keep it up!
