TTC my first!

Hello everyone!

I'm new to BnB, and this is also my first month TTC. I'm 19, and my boyfriend is 24. We live in the beautiful SF bay area and have decided it's time to welcome our first. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant this cycle, but you never know. I am 11DPO, and plan to test in 3 days. FX. However, I've had some irregular bleeding, so I don't think it's meant to happen this month. FX for everyone waiting to test!

when did you have irregular bleeding it could be implantation bleeding.

I'm not so sure it's implantation bleeding, it's lasted too long, I think. I started AF, as expected on the first of this month, and got off the 5th. Around the 14th or 15th, when I should have been ovulated, I started bleeding again. It's been a decent flow, and it's throwing me off. I just moved apartments, so it may be stress but I'm not sure and I can't find any other similar situations.

hmm that is strange. I would recommend using opk or tracking your bbt next month if you dont get your bfp this month. It reduces the uncertainty a bit! Good look fx for your bfp!

Definitely is. Taking a test on the 1st to be 100% sure. Just hoping it doesn't throw off my cycle! I just started tracking my bbt and am going later today to buy a hoard of both opk's and hpt's. That was I always have them on hand. Thank you and fx for you as well!

Hello i just wanted to say good luck and try to relax and not over think things. I had my first baby in feb and trying to fall pregnant felt forever. We started trying in january last year. I fell pregnant in the may. It was the month i decided to stop stressing. Good luck hun xx

Thank you! My plan is to take it easy and not get too over emotional. I'm still really young and I don't expect it to happen right away. I find symptom spotting to be fun, I don't let myself get anxious. So many members have said they conceived once they relaxed and stopped trying. BFN are always depressing but I make sure everything else is fun.

New developments from just now. While my cycle is all wonky, I don't know what to expect. However, my blood flow stopped sometime yesterday and today I have egg white CM. Getting a OPK in a bit to see if it means some sort of odd ovulation.

I'm not expecting my signs to be clear, honestly. My grandmother on my dads side had 12 kids and 3 (!!!) sets of twins (one fraternal set of girls, one identical set of girls and a girl-boy set - anything is possible)! My mom had 8 kids with one set of twins - though only one made it. She's as small as I am (5'2" and 110lbs) and has no stretch marks after 8 pregnancies! Though I wouldn't mind a few stripes of my own, I find that close to a miracle.

People have also told me I have 'birthing hips' and larger breasts - for my size - as well as a hip-waist ratio of .7 (which is supposed to be fertile). So hopefully these are all good signs and not coincidences! It will also help in my chances in becoming a surrogate.

Lol very fertile family. Its pretty much a guarentee you will be pregnant in the next year. Most people fall in 4-6 months my dr said so wont be long. Enjoy your pregnancy when you do fall.

Being a mum is amazing. Its worth the wait i promise xx
