cns: That's great that you were able to get some insight to your cycle! So the pre-seed should work well enough to lower your pH? I can't remember if you said before, but how do you know you're acidic? Is there a way you can test that? Sorry if you already mentioned that!
Hopefully things will go better this month for you!
I do think I will join in the December one. I'm really hoping this cycles shortens up a bit. This last one was 1 day shorter (yahoo). I ordered some soy isoflavone (or something like that). They should be here Thursday.
I'm honestly wondering if I've screwed up my cycle myself. While I wasn't charting, I still noted my cycles, so I know my cycle lengths from March (when I first got the IUD in).
I honestly think I've done it to myself as I noticed a trend (we're all about looking for trends in school

). I was in the middle of my second semester when I got the IUD in. That was a 40 day cycle. That's really not bad for it being off, but I was stressed and not sleeping well because of school.
Next cycle started beginning of May - right around finals. I had a couple of weeks off, but then my 10 week, 13 credit hour summer semester started. It was intense and I pretty much averaged 2-3 hours the whole semester except for maybe a 6-8 hr sleep on Saturdays. That cycle went to 46 days. New cycle started right around the time my 6 week class ended (so a little pressure off), but still sleeping about the same and still quite stressed.
Went down to a 41 day cycle. New cycle started like a day or 2 after my last final.
I had 3 weeks off, but those were still pretty stressful, still with a lack of sleep. Started fall semester mid-late August (IUD out at the end of the month). Very stressed and overwhelmed. Like 10 times worse than summer. Still averaging around 3-4 hours of sleep a night, including weekends. Some nights during the week I didn't go to bed at all or only napped for an hour before getting up and going (and it was crazy with appointments for the kids).
55 day cycle. Started getting sick at the beginning of Sept. It really never went away. Kind of came and went, but it was never really gone. Second of half this semester I had another class starting which put me up to 16 credit hours long with other classes that have much more difficult content. Then got sicker. Plus the stress of ttc.
Finally just crashed and burned. Got myself to the doctor, got my ears cleared up, and getting more sleep now (tonight is the exception lol as I had way too much to do for tomorrow/today). I'm not getting as much sleep as I'd like, but it's more than I've been getting. Once I decided to kind of slow down a bit and try to focus on taking care of myself, I think that just kind of helped. I know it felt like a weight had lifted off my shoulders Sunday night, and then next thing I know I'm spotting Monday and Starting Tuesday.
I'm hoping if I can continue to just take care of myself, get sleep, go to the dr when I need to, etc, that it'll start going back to normal (and hopefully with the supplements). I really chronic stress and averaging 2-4 hours of sleep a night for almost 6 months is really what did this. Maybe there's some other factors, but I think that's the main culprit.
I think my main goal if anything is to keep working on de-stressing and getting enough sleep, and hopefully things will start falling into place. I will be disappointed if we aren't successful this month, but I'd rather be out this month and work on getting me healthier as otherwise we're just probably not going to be successful period.
Sorry for another novel... this all just kind of hit me.
