hello ladies, question from ttc, has any got bfp onblue dye?? do they always get evaps?? can you ladies show me some pics of bfp on blue dye??

I don't think they ALWAYS get evaps, but I have not found them to be a reliable source if you are testing before your period is due! Here's my evap I got on a blue dye test this month. Granted I went on to get a BFP, this was a total convincing evap...

Best of luck to you hon! Get a pink dye First Response Early test. They're much more accurate! For me anyway. :)

but if you got bfp then it must not have been a evap? can you look at my test in pregnancy gallery and see if u see anything or evap?? im cd 54 w/ irregular cycles, my boobs starting hurting today and sensative nips, but i tested like 3 wks aga]o bfn

I did, and there's a pregnancy test section on Bnb. I'm sure you can find a ton of blue dye positives if you do a search.

Blue tests often give evaps that is why they are not really good to take before missing a period...more chance of an evap. I second the FRER, they are very sensitive, I got my positive on it 6 days before my missed period, 2 wks 6 days to be exact!

I haven't had any bad experiences with blue dye tests. I found out I was pregnant with my daughter with a ClearBlue test, and also with this pregnancy as well. I've also had plenty of negatives with them as well. Never any evaps. I never understood why everyone on this forum is so anti blue dye test but maybe I'm just lucky?

Here's an EPT test I took a few days after my first positive. Not the best pic but its all I've got on my phone.

Alot of women get false positives with them, that is why there is such a strong response to them. I could not imagine taking a test, being told I was pregnant just to find out the test was faulty. It happens more with blue tests then pink dye ones so yeah, stick with the pink if you don't want to run the risk...

Do they show up within the time limits? I guess I've just gotten lucky. My reason for not getting the FRER is that the lines are so thin that it's harder for me to see when it's faint.

i got several evaps with blue and got my hopes up

If you google blue evaps pregnancy test this one girl did a test, with tap water.

She got a positive. :haha: They just have a bad rate of being inaccurate. I don't really know why to be honest but since I did that research I never bought them...

BFP with #2 at 3+4. I am indeed very pregnant. :haha:

When we were TTC w/ #2, I took a FRER (pink dye) and got this within the time limit. It was weird.

I had a very faint positive with an internet cjeapie. It looked like an evap. I had a clear blue plus (blue dye test like in the pic above) and got a clear positive straight away. I'd probably use both types if unsure.

Here's my thread with test pictures: https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/pregnancy-tests/2000925-internet-cheapie-negative-updated-bfp.html

I used a clear blue (blue dye) each time I have tested, got a clear bfp with my son, and got a clear bfp this time.. I also took clearblue tests on a cycle I wasn't pregnant and had no evaps, it was a clear bfn
