TTC while breastfeeding.

Hi, I'm still breastfeeding my 8.5 month old & haven't had AF yet. Does anyone know how if there's anything I can do to kick start ovulation? I don't want to stop bfing yet as my DS loves it & I go back to work next month so want to keep bfing to help comfort him & maintain closeness.
Any advice appreciated xx

Hi, a lot of ladies recommend taking agnus castus (Vitex) to kickstart ovulation when BF. I got some from Holland and Barrett when my LO was 6 months old, and it brought back AF the following month x

Only risk is that some ladies may experience decrease in milk supply (if that happens you can just stop taking it), whereas some experience an increase in milk supply. For me, it was a significant increase, which was a bonus x

How long did you take it for? A whole month or more/less

I took it from CD1 up until ovulation every month until I got my BFP, which was about 4 months
