TTC - with possible major issues...

Hello.

My husband and I have just decided to start TTC. We were always going to start TTC relatively soon after our wedding (we got married in June this year) but things are being brought forward a bit by recent events - I have been diagnosed with pcos AND I'm having a Laparoscopy on Monday to diagnose/clear Endo. I have heard that the best time to conceive is after a lap as you are more fertile for around 6 months afterwards. I have come off the pill having been on it off and on for 13 years.

I as really just waning to know if anyone is TTC under similar circumstances? I've found Endo forums with people with Endo TTc and pcos forums with people with pcos TTC to noone with both! Would eb great to hear some stories so I know that A) I'm not wasting my time (though I do accept that I will probably need help conceiving) and B) just to get some advice/support with this. My friends and family are being supportive but they really don't understand. I have 2 siblings and my mum really didn't have any trouble concieving us. My best friend has 2 gorgeous daughters and had very little trouble concieving them.

So. Any advice or anything would be so appreciated!

I'm ttc at the moment with clomid due to cysts and inactive ovaries so I have 'polycystic type' ovaries, just none of the other pcos systems.

Have you been told whether you are ovulating on your own?

They haven't said I am but I shouldn't be yet as I've been on the pill until yesterday. However, I also have 2 cysts on my right ovary that really confused them as they generally only appear when you are ovulating. Is very confusing!

I'm sure I am though and have been for ages because I get signs of ovulation - the SWM etc but hen maybe you get that when you should be but aren't ovulating?

I had suspected endo, I had the lap (I've had 3 now) and I didn't have it so I would wait till you know you've got it before you start worrying.

I am TTC with my insides covered with scar tissue, one tube and PCOS.

I've had the lap - they found Endo and "treated" it. Will have a follow up appointment in 6-8 weeks. I don't know much else - they came and spoke to me when i was in recovery and had only been awake for about 10 mins so was very groggy still. They said soemthing about my bladder as well which I can't really remember but has confused me as i've never had any issues with my bladder - I was expecting them to say something about my bowel as I have (i think) a dodgey bowel but they didn't say anything. i think! was groggy so they may have....

Sorry about your endo... I have it too and was injected with hormones straight after my lap to put me under temporary menopause for a few months. They told me stuff when I was groggy too, so I asked my hubby to take a photo of the laparoscopy report! Did you have any hormonal treatment after your lap?

try Michaels Female Reproductive Factors, take 4 day, 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM, try it for a few months and see how it works they are natural, and can be bought at any nutrition/health store or online at amazon. I LOVE THEM
