AF showed up in full swing today...bummer. I only took about 25 pregnancy tests...lol...money wasted, I suppose. I am happy to be ending this 2WW. It's a relief to know something one way or another. I begin my 2nd round of Clomid in a few days & then on to the baby making. Wish me luck.

I do have one question though....I barely spotted yesterday around noon, then heavy flow started last night. I'll be charting for the first time this month, so should I count yesterday or today as day 1?

Also, when I started yesterday, it was cd 35. Before clomid I was all messed up...that's why dr. prescribed it, so just wondering if you guys think that my cycle will always be this long with the clomid since it was the first time. Thank you in advance for any responses.

So sorry AF got you hun.... hopefully you won't have to wait much longer for you BFP!!!! I would count the day you started spotting... that's what I do. But either way you'd only be off by like a day... so it shouldn't affect your whole cycle too much.

Not sure about the Clomid- but I would guess, that because it was your first round it may take some time to know what a typical cycle length would be for you now? Sorry I can't be of more help there...

Best of luck and loads of baby dust!

Thanks for your response. I am also trying to figure out what the best way to chart actually is. This may sound crazy, but I've read so much about charting, yet not exactly sure what all it involves. Should I do it online? Do I just print out a calendar and write in my basal temp. and write down ovulation dates and stuff like that? Thanks.

Hi hon sorry you are out this month - me too :( but I agree I'd rather know and get on with next cycle.

Temping and charting is pretty easy if you are consistent. Take your temp. everyday in the morning before you get out of bed (have the thermometer right by your bedside and I keep a pad of paper as well because sometimes it's hard to remember your temp. when you're still groggy). I use Fertilityfriend.com because it's easy and the basic membership is free. You don't get lots of fancy stuff with it on the basic membership but it's enough to chart your ovulation and cycle so that's good enough for me. You can pay for more services but I would start with basic for now unless you get really into it. Put you temp in and FF (fertilityfriend) will chart it for you throughout your cycle and figure out the ovulation date.

I would start your first Cycle Day as the first full day of actual blood flow (not just spotting). If it's one day off it won't through everything off so don't worry too much. Good luck this time around...

hey...thanks for the info. another question...I looked at your chart just to see what one looks like (the link in your signature). So, you chart your cm each day? also, you x in the days you bd? And...how come it doesn't show your temps, or am I reading it wrong? Does it explain these kind of things when I create a chart? Thanks again.

Oh, wait...I think I understand. Today is your first cycle day also? Today is my first also. Maybe we can be "buddies", or whatever they call it on here. I'm new to this site. LOL

Hey 32ttc -

I'm the worst temper...I just had a miscarriage two months ago so I took off temping for a bit (just gets annoying and I really couldn't be asked) but my OH and I really want a baby by Xmas so I'm starting to temp tomorrow and my chart will look more normal. (That's why it was empty before).

I'll be your TTC buddy if you want. Are you 32? I'm 33 :). When you get the chance get on FF and then you can set up your chart and put a link to it on your signature so we can see how we're progressing.

:hugs:

Grandbleu....I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I think we're even more on the same page than I thought. I also had a miscarriage recently. Mine was back in late June. Do you have any other kids? I'm going to set up my chart tonight.

Hi 32TTC - I'm so sorry for your summer loss - it is so hard - I never knew how hard it could be until I went through one myself.

No other kids this will be my first...praying that I can have at least one...that's not too much to ask is it. Do you have any others now?

There's also a TTC after loss in case you want to check in there...it's ladies who have experienced losses and are still TTCing...it's nice to have people that understand the extra struggle of already having lost a baby and still persevering for a positive pregnancy test.

I can't remember if I sent you a friend request but I'll do that now. Good luck on setting up your chart. Let me know if you have problems linking it to your profile.

I do have a child. I have a five year old daughter. I've been married for almost 9 years, and I have NEVER prevented pregnancy & only been prego twice...with my daughter and the miscarriage. I'm no fertile myrtle...that's for sure, but I have been blessed with one. She's the light of my life, but I just soooo want one more so she can have a brother or sister, and I just don't feel like I'm finished. I want to experience it again. And, to answer your question, No....that's not too much to ask. I know how much you want and deserve to hold your own child in your arms. You will get your positive test & your sticky bean. I can't remember our previous conversations, but are you on clomid? I am starting my second round tomorrow.
