To be honest, you can't tell for sure. The symptoms before AF are caused by rising progesterone which is the same hormone in pregnancy. I was *certain* I was going to get my BFP last month because I had sooo many symptoms (even felt "implanation cramping") but AF arrived right on time. On the cycle of my BFP, I actually had fewer "pregnancy symptoms" than previous cycles.
I have learned my lesson... don't rely on any symptoms before AF is due! I know it's so hard to ignore them, but take them all with a grain of salt. Good luck, ladies... the TWW is the worst!
