Hi,
I am so glad I found this thread, there was a thread that I found as soon as I found out I was pregnant and it got to 105 pages, it was like reading a story

at times a sad one because all of the posts about the hypos without symptoms made me scared (I cried my eyes out one day expecting the worst), I will have to find the thread as although no-one posts on it now it did make interesting reading. Anyway I had given up hope of anyone starting a new thread with women going through the same as me so I am so happy I looked again today.
Just the same as you Babybambi I really feel like I need someone to talk to going through similar issues, as the hospital can help with changing insulin needs but none of them are diabetics and actually gone through it day to day, its not as easy as changing doses - if only!
I am the same as you almost Lillyrose in that I have been diabetic 18 years and am almost 16 weeks pregnant, I feel like my insulin resistance has already kicked in though, not to the point of doubling it, just extra, did anyone else find this?
Babybee said with the Levimer levels can be great provided you eat right - the thing is thats what I am struggling with, I so much want to do my best but hell I am pregnant so it seems natural that I want to snack all the time and eat all the wrong foods : ( but I do feel like I am learning which wrong foods to avoid and which ones I can have just by adding a couple of extra doses.
Sorry about the long long post, I'm just so happy I've found this site, even if I don't find time to post its good to read for advice x
