Thanks for your reply Princess Lou, What are the injections for? I'm south England, my doctor did say that after 6 rounds, which was the amount allowed, i would be referred to FS, but I know that IVF has an age limit of 30 on the NHS, so didnt know what that FS would actually be able to do!
Hi, I am 30 , have PCOS and did 7 rounds of clomid which were unsuccessful. I was given two options either ovarian drilling or injectables. You can look them up on google for all details. I probably won't explain it right!
I decided to have the ovarian drilling which I had done on the 12th jan, so there are a few other options before IVF I suppose it depends on the reason for infertility.
Hope this helps, any questions just ask. X
Hi clomid didnt work for me so I was put on the waiting list for injections, whilst I wait they have me trying tamoxifen which has actually made me ovulate first time so I am praying for a bfp!

The injections are also to make you ovulate but have a higher success rate of making women ovulate than Clomid.
I'm not sure where you are getting your information from but I am nearing the end of my eighth cycle on Clomid and will continue until I get the injections or BFP.
In terms of IVF, from 1 April 2005 all women aged between 23 to 39 who meet the eligibility criteria will be offered a minimum of one full cycle of IVF on the NHS. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/IVF/Pages/Introduction.aspx
