Underhand tactics - formula companies

i still don't get why people feel guilty about feeding their baby I never felt guilty when people moaned that they couldnt feed LO or have them overnight (mainly MIL) because I knew what I was doing was best for me and my baby. You shouldn't feel guilty about doing what's best.

I never said there was anything wrong with formula It keeps babys alive when breastfeeding isnt possible but its an imitation so IMO its 2nd best to breastmilk.

people may not be name calling or anything but people are obviously getting quite offended and defensive and 72 pages of it is a bit much IMO...

Here's what I see for "breastfeeding advice". Interestingly when I search for "breastfeeding problems" it isn't coming up with the same search results as it did earlier.

Its not snotty! I dont use formula and hopefully will never need to. I dont think people who do use formula are bad mums and i dont think any less of them if they do use formula. That being said, I wish more people would BF.

I guess because we're all adults and if any of us thinks it's getting a bit much then we can just stop reading.

There's nothing particularly offensive to warrant it being closed. Yes it's repetitive and it will die off in the natural course of things as people get tired of debating the same point repeatedly. Until then, if you're bored of reading it then don't read it

I can see what way Blah has taken that, she is a nice person she posts often and helps poeple yet you have just said thats the nicest post she has done. That sounded snotty to me. Maybe not your intention but thats how it looks from my end.

whats wrong with that line? I feel the same. If it comes to it with baby 2 I will be gutted if I have to but I hope never to use it either.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to breastfeed my baby I love breastfeeding. I love the bond, I love the cuddles and i love knowing that im keeping my baby alive and helping her grow. Do not try and make me feel bad for not wanting to give that experience up

This is a point I made earlier - why does it bother you what other people are doing? Why do you wish more people would breastfeed - how would that benefit you? Just worry about your own children and let everyone else make their own decisions. Some people choose from the start not to BF, that's their perogative...
