Unusual names, which do you prefer?

i voted for clay i really like it!!
i loke different names - my boys are Kaleb and Kai.

didnt set out for them to both be K's but it jsu turned out that way!i know Kaleb is normally spelt with a C but didnt like how it looked written so i changed it!!

i remember sitting waiting to go down for my section with Kai on the paientline thing on the internet looking for names coz we hadnt decided and it was only as i was wheeled out of recovery back up to the ward that i decided on his name!! haha

I love the name Wren for a boy!

It reminded me that Kevin Bacon's character in Footloose is Ren, but I like the Wren spelling better.

I voted for Truth. It's lovely. my OH's brother's name is Knowledge and I really like that name too. Bear is a cute name, but here in the states it's also a term for a burly gay man. Just an fyi.

Oh crikey, I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up!

I LOVE Wren, heard it as a surname but never a first name. I think that's lovely.

i voted truth but i like it more as true and its a lovely name to have as a middle name.
also i like clay its a nice nn of clayton.

clayton true has a nice ring to it. xx

We are erring towards Wren or Sunny...., have written of Flint and Bear, and I just can't get comfortable with Clay, even though it is the most popular.
OH Hates Truth and Fox, and we haven't added anything new to the list.
Arghhh! So hard choosing for a boy!

I think Wren sounds girly, makes me think of women in the Royal Navy or Jenny Wren in nursery rhymes. I think Flint, Sunny and Clay would def grow on me - both a bit different. x

I remember posting on here the two names we were considering and most people voted for the one we didn't use in the end...we went for the one with more personal meaning for us and it was the right thing to do, although it took us a while to get comfy with the name! Your decision will be the right one.
