I am hoping and praying that your baby just implanted late. If you are not sure of your dates and depending on when you got your BFP you have a very good chance your baby is a lot younger than you think. My story did not end well. I hope you do not mind me sharing but when I was going through this all everyone said and all I read was good news, so when I got bad news I was just lost and even more destroyed. This only my story and I was certain of my dates so different to you.

I got told the same thing at 10/11 weeks that the baby was too small and to hang on I could have got my dates wrong. I desperately hoped this was the case and googled everything that told me that it would be ok. I knew that my dates were right though. My first scan showed what looked like a blighted ovum, the scan the next day saw a baby I was so happy until the next breath said no heartbeat and measuring 6 weeks 1 day. That is when they said I may have dates wrong, which was impossible as I took OPKs and had a BFP for a long while. Then the bloods started and they decreased. I ended up having a d and c after 2 weeks of ultrasounds, false hope, blood tests and my body refusing to give up this baby.
I wish you better luck, but I if you need to chat I am here and know what you are going through.

i really hope i have my dates wrong and that is a big possibility but after today i just cant get my hopes up and be heartbroken again.

I had at 10 weeks some bleeding,only for 1/2 hours and some brown spotting. I heard that happens when the placenta start to take over,in my case is everything is fine now.you just have some brownish discharge, I think that is from the cervix, have you had sex recently?sometimes that can make it happen.

just got back and its not great news. basically they did an internal scan and saw a sack and a tiny 1cm thing. they said it could be an early pregnancy or the baby could of stopped growing. they took my blood and i have to go back wednesday to check if my hcg levels are rising properly, then theyll know whats going on. the scan shown that i have PCOS which i thought i might have. so she said i could of ovulated really late. but theres also a chance that the baby has just stopped growing. so i have to wait 48 hours just to know whats going on. im not even getting my hopes up coz i went in thinking things would be ok but they werent. im gutted

Oh sorry just found your post.I am sorry that things got worse.but maybe everything will be just fine.

Out of curiosity, how did you decide that you were 10+ weeks along? Your BFP post went up on January 26, and there you estimated that you were ~6 weeks along according to LMP. That would put you at only 8+2 today.

A baby measuring 1 cm would be about 7 weeks along, so I think there is a real possibility here that you either ovulated late and/or implanted late and your dates are off. Don't lose hope.

I couldnt remember my exact lmp due to irregular periods. I had an idea it was in the first half of December. So I put myself using the latest date. But when I saw the midwife she put me at 10 weeks because she said she would go from 1st dec due to me not knowing my dates. I did tell the at the hospital I might be 8- 10 weeks but I'm unsure.

Turned out I was only 5.5 weeks along, but the tech said she thought everything looked "ok", but i was still worried i was actually 8 weeks and the egg had just stopped growing and i just hadnt m/ced yet. but that the real tell would be my blood test results, had a regular doc appointment on Friday, and the doc told me my levels were rising and he thinks everything is fine! So there still might be a slight chance everything is ok. But either way you are in my thoughts

thank you. i know it can be a possibility because i honestly cant remember my dates. and they said the scan shown PCOS and they think i could of ovulated late. i took a clear blue digi 2 days after my other tests and that put me about 4 weeks when i thought i was more. but if i was 4 weeks then, then the dates would add up to me being 6/7 weeks now. i just dont want to get my hopes up to much.
