Using a Doppler with Tilted Uterus.

Hi all,

I have been trying to find the hb using a doppler since about 9w and couldnt, it was really worrying at first but then went for my 12w dating scan and saw the baby, the hb was fine but they put me back a week to 11w.
I had to come back a week later to do the nuchal scan at 12w and had another scan, saw baby and hb was fine again. It was during this scan that they told me I had a tilted uterus.... I am now 13w+2d and I still cant find the hb with doppler... has anyone else had an experience trying to find hb with a tilted uterus?

Im going to keep trying but its so frustrating.

I have a tilted uterus and I have been able to find the heartbeat - it takes quite a while each time, but it's there and you have to listen very carefully because it's not very loud - I think that's something to do with it being tilted back.

Anyway it might take you 20 mins to half an hour to find each time, but be patient - it's amazing when you find it! xx

Fill your bladder first! That should help! Mine is also tilted!
