I am prone to UTI's. I have had tons in my lifetime and rarely go to the doctors anymore because I find they go away when I treat them myself at home by drinking more, not using scented wash etc

For about a week and a half/2 weeks I have had a UTI (I am 6 weeks pregnant). It has not been BAD at all. It sometimes burns when I pee in the morning a little bit but nothing dreadful at all.

I had a little google to see if it was dangerous in pregnancy leaving it so long (it never occured to me for some reason!) and now I am terrified as I have read it can cause miscarriages to leave a UTI untreated.

I will make an emergency doctors appointment today and get antibiotics but now I am terrified I will have a miscarriage because of it.

An infection of ANY kind in pregnancy isn't good. Just get on top of it now :flower:

I had loads in my last pregnancy i was told a uti isn't dangerous but left untreated it can turn into a kidney infection which is dangerous as ccan cause preterm labour x id defo get antibiotics every time u have a uti in pregnancy x

just been for emergency appointment at my dr. dr said the strip was taking a while to register it so it didn't seem like a bad one at all. been given amoxicillin now.
