UTI (ouch!!!) and Azo?

I just went to the bathroom and (OUCH!!!) apparently I have a UTI. I get UTI's somewhat frequently even when I'm not pregnant and I usually just take AZO and drink lots of water and it feels better after a couple days. I rarely need to go to the doctor for these things.

A couple questions: Is Azo safe to take? Can a mild UTI harm the baby?

Ugh, wish I could be of some help, but I feel like I'm getting one too and looking for the same answers.

I'd definitely call the doctor. Having an uti could cause issues. Also in pregnancy your immune system is compromised. Not something I'd personally take a chance with.

I would go to the dr right away as pp mentioned. And i was told AZO is not safe for pregnancy.

A uti can be very dangerous in pregnancy.
