veins on baby's head

Hi there.
When you read this post you probably will think i'm silly but it really bothers me. My Lo has two long veins on his head and when i'm touching them they fell like there is a deep cut underneath it. Is it normal? I don't know what to think.

do you have any veins that stick out that you can feel?
i do on my wrist and if i press on them it feels like theres a cut underneath - i would say its normal hun!

My children have veins on the sides of their foreheads but very thin so cant feel them, whereas bigger veins you will be able to feel them.

Where are the veins? I wouldnt worry, but whenever your son has his next check up, mention your concerns (for peace of mind) Nothing worse than worrying Xx

my little one has them too so hope its normal pretty surre it is.

My son has them too (very visible as no hair) - and I just touched them, yeah, weird feeling. Seems normal.

Imi has a huge one on the side of her head but her daddy has one in the same place - I call it his stress vein as it is always more prominent if he is angry lol. The rest of her veins are so sunken that when in SCBU her canular had to be put in her vein on her head as it was all they could get to!!

Yeah, Stan has them too. A great big long one that goes up behind his ear and over his head, it dents in sometimes. Looks gross, luckily his hair is growing back over it

Omar had one on his forehead when he was born. Now he's 3 mnths & it's gone.
