Hi all. Since today I have been feeling a little off balance, only mildly. I don't really feel dizzy but have a strange sensation in my head, like I have been on a boat going over waves all day - almost like I am moving when I am not. I think this might be some mild vertigo from what I have looked up.

Has anyone at all experienced vertigo during their pregnancy?

I probably need to drink more water today, but I am not dizzy just an unusual feeling almost like I am out of focus in my head or like I have had a couple of drinks. It's mild but enough to irritate me.

Yeah I will definitely mention that at my next appointment. I took my blood pressure tonight and it was 117/70 which is in the normal ranges, and my normal blood pressure before pregnancy was usually ranging from 110/60 to 130/80, so I am wondering if I need to take into account the extra blood volume. Not sure, I will talk to the doctor about it.

    Thanks hun xo

    Hi ya,

I had this badly on Friday and again today...I even have a feeling it has something to do with the weather (?!) as both days were dark, rainy etc... but its exactly like you said, not dizzy as such but a bit of a 'spinning head'.

Hope you feel better soon, xxx

does sound like vertigo, i've had it on and off for a few years, and during pg. unfortunatley you can't take anything for it during pg. just make sure you get plenty of rest!
