Visitation for fathers day

Those whose fob's still visit, what have you arranged for Father's day? I suggested a nice farm and wildlife place near where me and lo live and offered three hours and gave him two possible times to arrive (either morning or afternoon, whichever suited him best). He said it is HIS visitation and HE doesn't want to visit lo in a chaotic park environment, so said it was to take place at my family home and for more than 3 hours. Visitation is normally two hours a fortnight in a neutral environment (I offered weekly but due to the distance between where fob and me and lo live, fortnightly was more convenient for him). I have said that lo would enjoy the place I had suggested but fine, if he didn't want to see him there then to pick a quiet cafe or somewhere and he could see him for 3 hours there.

Is this reasonable? What is everyone else doing? xx

That sounds reasonable to me hun, and to go somewhere different thats fun would be nice for your lo and thae fact that you are offering 3 hours instead of 2........ Has he picked anywhere else yet??

I have a thred on here about my fob.... I asked him if he would like to see Ellie on fathers day and he basically said that Sunday wasnt a good day for him as he goes out every Saturday night and he will have a hang over and will also be wanting be wanting to go to the gym. He said he 'might' be able to pop round on the Saturday for a little while because it was better for him. I told him that Saturday wasnt an option as fathers day is on SUNDAY!!!! I have since told him that it is his loss and I will be doing something special with her that day instead because I do both jobs of mum and dad He only sees her for an hour after work once a week anyway and when he is here he isnt interested in her

Their loss if they want to be arsey about it or not bother to see them at all, Its nice that we have given the option, I know of some people who wouldnt.

Thanks hun, I thought it seemed reasonable but he still hasn't replied or let me know so god knows what he wants to do!! I can't believe your fob wants to come on saturday instead of sunday, how ridiculous!! Hope you enjoy sunday with your lo you deserve it! xx
