Does Vitex make AF lighter?

On another note my cycle got longer earlier (31 days last week) this year and it was 27 days this cycle! hope that's what it is!

It hasn't occurred to me, but I've taken Vitex for like 6 months now and my periods are lighter. I thought it was my age...

Maybe it's Vitex - anyone else know?

I've been battling some pretty wicked menorrhagia (due to what I am certain is hormonal imbalance) for a while now and with each cycle on Vitex (this is my third now) the bleeding decreases . It is indeed purported to be great for mellowing out excessive menstrual bleeding. I take it all cycle (though I may just take it during my FP this cycle then do my progesterone after O). Do you guys take it all cycle or only during certain times?
