Hi gals,

any recomendations on in car bottle warmers? Were going on a driving holiday so having a back up plan for warming bottles on the go.

Also any recomendations for storing them on the go ?

Thanks

not what you asked for but i take a flask full of boiled water :D

yes we were considering that :) but though there might be a better solution than messing with boiling water... i am clumsy at the moment :)

You can get travel bottle warmers hun - some of them work by pre "charging" them before you go then just press a button. I think you drop the bag in hot water and it absorbs the energy before you set off and gives out heat energy when you press the button. Problem with that is you will need a few of them if you are out all day and nowhere to recharge them. Or I'm sure you can get ones that get charged through the cig lighter in your car...

Might be worth trying little one on room temp bottles???
xx

we got this from argos. canot live without it i take mine everwere. https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0988177/Trail/searchtext>TOMMI+TIPPI.htm and the water stays hot for hours

Hi

We used this during our 8 hour drive to Scotland over Easter (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sunshine-K...f=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1273418261&sr=8-1). We did a feed just before we set off and then I packed 3 bottles of cooled water for the journey (only really needed two but had an extra one just in case!). The warmer was brilliant. It took about 15 minutes to heat the water up but we just made sure that we started it going well in advance. If you do get this one, keep the box that it comes in as this will protect the elements inside from getting damaged. I just keep it in the glove compartment now. x

I got a thermos 'thermax' which keeps water boiling for 24 hours (tested it and it was boiling up to about 16 hours and then just very hot!).

I know you said you were clumsy but it is very convinent.
