Warning: First Signal .88c tests False positives with even water! Very heartbroken

As a woman who has struggled with infertility for several years and multiple losses it’s heartbreaking to see positive results only to learn they are bad tests.

I had a weird period his month with normal bleeding plus some random spotting after my period ended. I also had nausea outside of my period usually I get it prior from endometriosis just usually get it before my period starts.

I took first response early tests got one no doubt positive, the other two negative I also was using First Signal .88 cents also positive and have been positive for over 1 week small progression but not as they should be if pregnant. I decided to see if they where possible bad tests and sure enough tap water triggered a positive actually darker test line than my own urine.

I have used first response a new pack and clearblue just to make sure all negative the only tests showing positives is the .88. How can they do this from just water! And, why must they be so hesrtbreaking? Normally I never get two lines. I’m now Leary of these tests I really thought I had it this month.

Just wanted to warn those who use them that be careful trusting them right now.

Yes I do not trust those tests either. I was getting false positives at 4 dpo but they never got darker and got my period last cycle. ( I was having weird symptoms and wasn't 100% sure I was 4dpo so tested and saw that. Got excited and yeah.. not a real positive) SOOOO SORRY they got you excited too.

It’s so heartbreaking! Exactly they are not progressing really. I always heard things good about them and I usually never get lines on them until now I’ll just have to stick to Clearblue and First Response. I’m sorry that you experienced the same thing.
