Washing machine not washing properly

Clothes are coming out of the machine still smelly and nappies are too.

DH work tshirts are a little smelly still and so are some of Evie's clothes

Any idea what it could be?

I use a cleaner similar to Calgon very month

Filter may need cleaning.....

Or I do a maintenance/cleaning wash every now & again - 1 scoop of washing powder, 90c wash on the longest cycle poss (mines 3 hours long) (No clothes in btw)

Can you clean the filter or do I need to call someone out?

The washing machine cleaner is used on the longest hottest wash too

You should be able to do it yourself.....have you still got the manual? It should say in there.

Have a look at the front of your machine at the bottom, there should be a flap that comes down where the filter is (Mine has always been on the bottom right hand side).
