I've had two now! I'm almost 21 weeks and I've been dreaming my water breaks (in public places) & then I panic 'its too early!!'. I had premature rupture in my first pregnancy at 36 weeks. Finley was OK, but we were in hospital fr 2 full days before they decided to induce. We were not prepared and it wasn't great.
Now, I'm afraid I might be even earlier as they never found out what had happened. I'm pretty disturbed by these dreams. Seems there is some trauma left from my first delivery experience. Not being in control of your body sucks!

I think it is probably just your subconscious remembering your last labour experience. Worst case scenario it happens again you know roughly how it will play out whereas before it was all new territory. Best case scenario you carry through to 40 weeks and go into labour then. My waters broke [albeit 8 days late!!] and it was horrible, not the gentle trickle or anything remotely like what the MW had said... it was like I was peeing myself after downing 1000 pints of water with no control. My sister took me to the MW and we were walking in and baby moved and I could feel some more go, it was horrible!! I'm now petrified of them going this time whilst out and about as I wont be able to hide it.

We tend to dream of fears. After my bleed at 6 weeks I constantly dreamt of bleeding. Premature rupture of the membranes is very scary. I hope you can relax. I worry about it too having had a hematoma, so I decided not to work or overdo it for the rest of pregnancy.

Same boat here! Not working, even though technically I could now. But SCH & vertigo attacks in first trimester just killed the drive completely. I'm taking it easy. I rest when I feel drained. My 3rd trimester was bad with my first, so I want to be as prepared as possible entering into that stage of pregnancy. Not there yet, but days fly by.

Yeah it just seems best not to take a risk. Work will be possible again soon enough ;)
