Waterbabies photo shoot prices

We take LO to water babies and did the photo shoot just before Christmas, we bought 3 digital images for £250 and because we'd spent more than £200 were given all 9 6x4 prints free of charge!

It is still expensive but for once in a lifetime pictures we thought it was worth it and we've seen the quality of some of the other companies photos and they aren't half as nice!

you know....I was instantly like "wow, I want to do this!!", then I looked at the prices and actually......looking on Amazon I could buy an underwater camera of my own for about the same price! I MAY just do that!

I see you have resurrected my old thread! Thought I would just add that, yes, this was expensive but I have had way mroe than £50 worth of joy out of my print. I felt a bit stung at the time but now I almost wish I bought more! :dohh:

I signed up for waterbabies this week to start next month. I had wanted to go earlier but couldnt afford it till i go back to work this month. The main reason was for the photos shoot, and unless i am conviced by how good the classes are i was thinking of only going for one term to get the pictures lol. Ive wanted them since i first heard of waterbabies while i was still pregnant. The pics are gorgeous.

However I am really glad I now have an idea of how much money to put aside for the pics, and I though pixifoto were bloody expensive lol

2016, water babies keep the hard copies of all photos so you can go back to them at anytime and buy more! :winkwink:

Kit10grl, the lessons are fab and definately worth it even without the photos... Our 6 month old has already learnt how to hold onto the edge of the pool and keep her head above water... And as an old school friend of mine lost her 6 year old after he fell into a swimming pool and drowned the safety aspect was what made us sign up!

Is it too late to take a 6 month old? I really wanted to take Poppy when she was little but couldn't really afford it I just want the photos lol x

I think you can start Waterbabies anytime before age 1. We really enjoyed the classes but only went for one term because I felt the classes our local pools offered were just as good at 1/3rd of the price.

Having had photos done at Venture and paying £195 for a 8x10 framed print (cheapest option they have!!!) I now think it's slightly better value. If only I'd known the prices upfront DH could have been prepared so he didn't get annoyed as he did.

6 months is probably a better age to start! LO started at 8 weeks and really enjoyed it, but she was (and still is) the youngest in the group and the other kids were more physically able to do things at first!

Oh my goodess, I can't believe the prices. Ours is in Feb apparently and I have nowhere near that amount to just spend on it, it's the month my maternity money stops coming in :( Why do they make you have to make these horrible decisions :(

Our group runs the photo shoots every 3 months so it's likely yours will too and you can always have the photos done and buy later

With ours being right before Christmas they were expecting most people to put off buying but we decided that paying out for the digital images was the most cost effective as we can have whatever we want printed whenever we want... we've literally just ordered a big canvas but originally just bought a triple frame for the 3 prints we liked (water babies charge around £200 for their version of this!) so we've already got our money's worth!

thanks so much for showing this price list weve been going to waterbabies since nevaeh was 6 weeks old and weve still not been told when shoot is or prices! 2 lessons left of the 1st block then nwe go on 2 the 2nd block, waterbabis is worth every penny we both love it and its great bonding for mummy and baby x

Can you maybe buy a print & then take to Asda to have blown up / madeinto canvas etc?
