Weeks t0 months?

So, I am 17 weeks, and I thought that from 16-20 weeks I was considered 4 months..... But all the newsletters I get are saying I am in the 5th month. So is it just me, or is the whole counting thing confusing. I know there are 2 ways of counting. Some count to 10 months..... This is baby #4, but I've still never figured out the weeks to months thing.

i get confused to my pregnancy book (what to expect when your expecting) says this

1-4 weeks = 1 month
5-8 weeks = 2 months
9-13 weeks = 3 months
14-17 weeks = 4 months
18-22 weeks = 5 months
23-27 weeks = 6 months
28-31 weeks = 7 months
32-35 weeks = 8 months
36-40+ weeks = 9 months

i also kept getting confused with this i got to about 4 months and thought whats going on with this counting months business lol it never worked out right i gave up in the end and i allways say weeks now allthough clairebear thats very helpfull info xxx

i think each month is counted as 28 days/4weeks

so by that working yeah you are in your 5th month, I think LOL

i find it thoroughly confusing so I go by the calendar date. I know my last period staretd on 13 October so I'm going by 13th. So I'm now 4 months, and 6 days in my book. And so I'm in my 5th month.

I prefer to think in months as it makes more sense when people ask how far along you are I think?
