Weight Loss Group?!?!?!

Okay so I've been reading a lot of the threads for the last 2-3 weeks and I've seen that some are waiting to loss some weight to move to the next step of ttc. So I've been thinking what can we do. And have somewhat of an idea but want to see how many would like to participate.

Here's what it would consist of:
- Inicial weigh in
- Weekly weigh in (I like to do Wednesdays just in case I have a bad weekend gives me a chance to work it off)
- We can start off doing it for a month (4 weeks to see how it goes)
- give me what you'd like to lose in those 4 weeks (please be resonable)
- and some type of goal (example workout at least 3 time a week or drink 448 oz of water a week, thats 8 per day for 7 days)

This is what it would look like:
PR&TR13
Inicial weight: 177lbs
Week 1: 176lbs (loss 1)
Week 2:175lbs (loss 1)
Work out: 4 out of 5 days

We can help each other and motivate eachother as we go along and hopefully that will help keep you motivated on your journey. That way reaching it faster :)

I know it works because about 2 years ago I did this on another site and was able to lose over 50lbs in less than a year and was able to go from a 36% body fat to a 24%!!!! Since then I have gained some back and would love to get them off again.

So what do you think? How many would be intrested?
 
Yep! I'll join you :) I'm 6 weeks into my weightloss mission. Need some extra incentive and motivation along the way though :flower:

Total of 50lbs to lose to get down to IVF BMI.
Currently - 9lbs lost (starting from 16/08/10)
1st goal - 26lbs by December 10 (to get to BMI 35 for IUI)
2nd Goal - additional 24lbs by April 2011
 
Yup, I'll play. Starting afresh tomorrow as just finished half a cheescake and drinking alcopop :O

I'll join!!! I definitely need to get back to losing weight and its hard doing it myself.

will a new thread be made for this or would we be working from this one?
 
I know there is a weight loss section to bnb, but I am happy to join one that is in this section.

Excellent!!!! We have 6 participants!!!! So if we are going to do this we can start next Wednesday as our inicial go. So by next Wednesday I will need to know or you can post yourself your inicial weight, goal to lose & something ud like to do!! Mine will b workout at least 4 times a week!

I can start a new thread where I'll post & update the first page every week :) I'm excited!!!!!

Foxyloxy congrats on what you've lost thus far!!!! You can five us some tips on what we can do to have the same success :)
 
ill join in. ive been on my "mission" since the start of September and have spent the last week doing jack squat. luckily i have havent gained any weight but i certainly havent lost any. i was doing it along with my co worker but she flakes out daily by munching on stuff at work then whines that she stinks at sticking to the plan... :( i need a bit more of a full in person to try to motivate myself!

I am going to weigh myself tomorrow morning......i dont think I will be able to get online until the evening to update everything that I want to accomplish...but I will tomorrow evening :)
 
Well ladies, I was away (home visiting my family) last week and put on 1lb - I don't know how I didn't put on more, as the food was amazing :haha:

I weighed myself Monday and had lost 1/2lb :dohh:

OH and I are back on a Slimming World style eating plan - I lost 2 stone with Slimming World last year (unfortunately managed to put it all back on again over the winter - mainly through stress and depression, but no more excuses now!). I hope to lose around 1-2lb per week.

I will also be back using my treadmill from this weekend - it seems to be more of an ornament in the corner of the room at the moment!! :rofl:

I thought I had better put up my details!

So far I have lost 19 1/2lbs but still need to loose 21lbs, so my goal is to loose this before christmas! But with how much I have eaten so far today, it may be a little harder than I thought!!
