Weight!!

My LO was weighed just before she was 6 months and she was 16lbs ...

and now at 7 months she was 18 and 3/4 on my scales... so thats less than a 2lb gain in a month??

Is this ok?? What are they meant to gain ??

kerry are you weighing her on the proper scales or just the usual bathroom scales, as the readings from them can be quite different. i would say though it sounds right honey. as long as she's eating and drinking and happy, and gaining, i wouldn't worry hon. could you take her along to hv to be weighed? obviously if you have a nice one! x

yeh we have a great one... its weds mornings but I have the hospital in the morn!! I have her check next week so she will get weighed there...

... yeah they are bathroom scales and I realise they can be different ... just thought she would have gained more that that

oh bless you, poor you, i no what you mean, maddi only gained half a lb this month, and hv said it should all slow right down due to weaning. sounds like you're doing a wonderful job with her honey if your concerned could you pop to your gp, explain you couldn't make tomorrow with the hv and could her weigh courtney and check for you? i no our surgery is excellent like this x

I think it slows down when they start getting more active too Kerry.

Hannah's weight gain has slowed (actually she's never gained at a rapid pace...just steadily gained).

Thanks ladies... yeh courtney has never gained quickly either but I thought with food and all she would gain it quicker...!!

But like you said Lisa she is more active now... the little terror
