Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Since I know that you will all be begging me to post a pic, here it is!
It is so faint I'm not sure you will be able to see it. I'm not even sure its anything more than an evap line? I reviewed yesterday morning's test and that line definitely wasn't there on that test.

The top one is last night, and the bottom one is this morning.

I do see a faint line on the bottom one. I think it is very possible that the temp dip is implantation dip. Fx'd!!!!

I see it on the bottom one tooooooo!!!! :happydance:

You guys aren't just saying that right? I have it posted here:

https://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test-gallery/image.php?galleryid=47277

Looks like others agree with you, me! I just hope it gets darker by tomorrow and the next day. If it does I could go in to my GP on Friday morning and have a BETA, but I wouldn't get the results until Monday. I don't think I can squeak in to do it until then. IDK, maybe its just evap?

Ali! So excited! Looking good, girl!
Angel! How can you wait? Poas already!!!

I'm busting with hope for all my bnb ladies!

Afm- things are heading in the right direction with dh- I just need to have him understand that it's his job to stand up for me with his sisters. I feel like his dad is my only ally in that family and although I don't really care what his sisters think, I do care that I feel like my husband is on the other side right now. Dh admitted that he liked telling his sister all our troubles because she was always on his side and that made him feel better. I pointed out that when he does that and isn't completely forthright about his own bad behavior, it puts me unnecessarily into a bad light with his sisters. He keeps saying he wants us all to be a close-knit, happy family- I've explained to him that he's sabotaging it all by himself. How can they get to know me if he keeps presenting a biased, one sided picture of me to them? Does not make me want to go out of my way to spend time with them! I also pointed out that the marriage counsellor is a better venue to gripe about me as she is not on anyone's side and is, by the nature of her job, committed to maintaining the integrity of the marriage. Aargh!
Apologies, ladies- I didn't realize that was going to turn into a rant! Good thing I love the Big Lug!
Babes is doing well, moving lots and growing steadily!

How is everyone else doing today?

Phil.

 Ali - I really do see it! I wouldn't just say that to make you feel good. I hope it gets darker for you.

I totally saw the line on the bottom one straight away!
When I first got my faint positives, it took a few days for them to really start to get darker- when I was where you are, I did about two tests a day just to make sure the line was still there! Fmu is the most reliable, of course, but I would go a few hours without drinking anything and then test again! I think I'm still addicted to poas! I did one at 12 weeks just to really, really make sure nobody was mistaken and babes was still there! It's easier now that I feel her move, not to poas, but there's something about seeing that positive after so many negs.....

Good luck, Ali! I feel like this is your month!

Angel- got my fx’d for you! So hard not to get your hopes up! GL! Let us know when you :test: :winkwink: Go test! lol

Ali- oooo hope this is your bfp! Try not to worry about the temp so much…so many variables can affect your temping, including exhaustion, stress, climate- everything. Then there is your fluke temps. So try not to worry so much about the little temp drops and spikes, it is the overall that counts. Your symptoms are sure promising! Plus you are still early for a bfp to register clearly I think. Usually 10dpo is a minimum. Go get that canned food! Hm, let’s see, jerky, crackers, water, fruit (dried), nuts….Gatorade, Tylenol, first-aid kit, batteries, flashlights, what else?

Oh! I just read your other post! That is def not an evap line! Looks like a solid line to me  Yikes, can’t wait for fmu tomorrow! :happydance:!!!! I did a negative doc on this image…the top pic is so faint, the bottom pic is clear as day! I don’t think this is an evap and you had your trigger so long ago the hcg should be out of your system (drumroll) unlesssss you are producing your own!

Phil- yep, your dh needs to put you first and tell the fam to back off. That’s what my dh and I have done for each other- when you marry you separate somewhat from the other family and dh becomes your priority and you his priority, iykwim? :hugs:

Jess- gonna go check your chart, r u still temping? Hows the new gym location working out?

AFM- feeling bleh today and just plain tired out…I did get sleep however :happydance: went to bed at 2230 (woot woot!) woke up at midnight for an hour then to sleep until 0830! So feeling much better today just kind of dragging. Third tri is trying to get me :growlmad: but I am determined to beat it! :bodyb: lol! Trying to decide if I want to work garage  or closets today- both got me whupped, hmm….

Phil - Glad that you and your DH are having honest and open communication. Keep it up and hold him accountable

AFM- Yesterday, while grocery shopping, my left ovary was so heavy and in so much pain. It felt like it did when I went through the fertility drug/IUI process when I got preggo with my twins. I had 5 follies mature at that time. Anyway, every step I took was sheer torture. I was fantasizing about having an internal crane to hold the poor ovary up :haha: . The odd thing was, my right ovary was hurting like it does when I usually O. So, I'm wondering if I O'd from both sides. Hmmmm.
Today I am canning spiced peach butter, and doing laundry. Unfortunately my washer is still broken and I am hand washing all of our laundry in the bath tub. I can get my kids to help with it a little bit, but amazingly they disappear when it comes to wringing the clothes out :haha:
Tomorrow I am going to try to can some pears and some pear butter. I have decided to keep as busy as possible during the tww. :winkwink:

Ali...you're so funny! We wouldn't just tell you that if it weren't true!! I'm so excited for you! What a blessing!!

Coy...yes, I am still temping...but I have missed a few days this cycle...I figure if I can't take it at the same time under normal circumstances, I just wont take it at all...then I wont obssess over the numbers...the new gym is coming along...we will have to endure my trainer constantly moving things around for the next few months until he has decided on a permanent spot for everything, but, we are use to that since that is what he did at our previous location.

Angel...I've been terribly busy...I'm ready for some !! So, it seems some of my HOPE is for you this month!! :winkwink: Possibly a BFP in the works for ya, huh? :hugs:

AFM...this weekend is my BF's Surprise birthday party...and I plan on getting some rest on Sunday...oh yeah, AFTER I take my son shopping. School starts on Monday for him...trying to :juggle: everything can really be a chore...something always gets left out and it is usually sleep!

Thanks Jess! I know you wouldn't say it unless you believed it. I guess I'm just freaking out thinking I'm crazy  and in shock that it might actually be true! I'll post pics tomorrow in hopes that they are darker.

Ali- Definately post pics tomorrow!!! I am  when it comes to poas! :haha:

Jess- the gym sounds fun and so does the birthday party :) Hope you get some fun in there and not all stress and running about! Wish me luck- I am going to work in the garage as I have neglected it for a week or so...but babes is sitting low and kicking the crap out of my bladder :loo: so it's a constant run tot he restroom only to have the sensation just...go away  lol!

Ali - I see it too honey!!!! On both pics but yes darker on the bottom one. Can't wait to see tomorrows:winkwink:

Coy - glad you got a great night's sleep, keep taking it easy.

Jess - busy busy lady! Oh I love surprise birthday parties, I hope all goes well. GL getting the son sorted for school.

Alin, Terri, Twotogo, Phil :hi::flower:

AFM... ok ladies I am starting to get a little nervous. I only had a small bit of spotting yesterday mixed with CM and we're back to slight creamy CM today. I had a feel up there this evening and there doesnt appear to be any more sign of spotting or AF, just CM. So, I have a couple of questions if anybody can help;
  • Can you have an IB without a temp dip?
  • If yesterday was an IB how long should I wait to test? Bearing in mind I had a BFN at 11 DPO (now at 15DPO). I cant remember how quick the HCG levels rise to be detected on a test.
Oh flip I cant help but start praying!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you can have IB without a temp dip, and if you have a temp dip I would wait 4 days before testing as it can take up to that long for hCG to be strong enough to show on an hpt. Okay, that is the official recommendation.... but I say :test: now. :haha:

Angel, I agree- it generallytakes "4-6 days" for hcg to register in your blood after implantation. Test every day, lol, I went crazy and had to test several times  Fx'd!

Hi ladies :hi: Well, I am at computer :comp: trying to decide if I should just go to bed r what. I have one load of laundry to fold, one to put in the dryer, one currently drying,….the putting my children to bed was the most exhausting lol! Takes forEVER. Aaargh.

Anyway, I tackled the garage again today  and got quite a bit of throwing away done :smug: I am getting better at judging harshly what I wish to keep and throw :haha: Most of it goes to donation or the dump  Saves me the trouble and space. I am pooped though, moving around takes a ton of energy now and babes seems to enjoy kicking the heck oughtta me when I have to bend over a lot- I must be squeezing her space :haha:Bending over is becoming a drama...If I drop something I usually call one of the girls to pick it up or I stand there and contemplate how important it is :haha:
Had vegtable beef stew for dinner and put the girls to bed.... I am hoping for an early night and at least 8 hours of blissful sleep! Interrupted by at least 3 trips to the bathroom :loo: no doubt, lol!

Oh, and does anyone know anything about using Afrin in pregnancy? My MW always said it was okay and I ended up using it with both dd's and no problem. But I have read potential "it might not be good" stuff so I worry. Anyway the third tri stuffiness has got me plus all the wildfires have our place puffed up with smoke...And I keep getting bloody noses (another part of pregnancy) and Afrin helps stop those. So

I am in complete shock but on :cloud9::happydance::cloud9::happydance:. I can't believe it, it's only my second cycle back TTC and I am now SO NERVOUS:wacko:. The line is faint but I think that's to be expected if I only had an IB on Tuesday. I'll keep testing over the next few days. This is my 7th pregnancy (1 DS) so I'm praying this one sticks, please say a little prayer for me everybody :thumbup:.

I think I'm over the first hurdle ladies, just need to make it past 10 weeks now :winkwink:.

Now Ali, where is your test and hopefully we'll be celebrating together!!! :flower:

As an allergy sufferer, I know that Afrin is a miracle drug. However, I also know that it's addictive. That's why it says not to use for more than 3 days. I only use it when I have unbearable stuffiness, such as that which prevents sleep. Although, I believe Afrin is also a stimulant, so it may make sleep more difficult. That's all I know. Best of luck :)
