My temp at 4am was 98.57, went back to sleep until 7:30 and it was 99.09. Feels like cp is dropping. I think I am out this month. I have a feeling I will start spotting on Wed. These temps can't keep going up.
But I have felt feverish all morning but yet my temp was low this am. Strange. who knows. AF is not supposed to be here til fri or sat. We will see

We are doing good. Still have power. We showered...cleaned everything...had breakfast...ran the dishwasher one last time and now we are siwtching to paper plates and plastic cups, forks etc. Washing sheets right now. Supposedly we are getting 60mph winds this afternoon. One of my friends is a trader and he said all 13 markets are closed today and tomorrow?? Is that right?? I can't believe they evacuated lower manhattan. Craziness! Be safe!!!!!!!!! Praying for safety for all.

Coy - Aeryn is absolutely beautiful!!!! Glad you had an easy labor and delivery. And I would love to hear your labor/birth story, so please share.
AFM - We finally got home at 2:00 this morning after sitting on the side of the road in the middle of 'nowhere' Kansas for 2 hours with a blown out tire. Poor DH, he walked for a ways both east and west of where we were sitting to try to find a mile marker so we could call for help, but he saw a coyote, and thought better of walking any farther in the dark. We did call in for help, and about 30 minutes later a deputy came out to help DH. The three teens (my two and the other youth we took to visit the college) and I goofed off on the side of the road and tried to stay warm. It was actually a fun experience for the kids.
I go in this afternoon for a more extensive (I hope) breast exam and to get a mamogram scheduled. A huge part of me wants to just cancel the whole thing, ignore the possibilities, and forego having my boobs poked around on. They are quite sore from being in the LP anyways...

Do not cancel that appt. You NEED to know what is going on just in case. Early detection is critical if there is a problem, and if there isn't then you can't put a price on piece of mind. Please go.

Markets closed early, firehouse whistle going off now, power flickering off and on, parents power is off, streets already flooded before high tide, streets being closed, wind is insane and it isn't the worst of it yet. Be safe and hunker down. Dh on the other hand has ants in his pants so he went into the office for a few hours, but he'll be home around 1. One of his brothers had a hurricane party last night and he feels like he's missing out...he can't stay inside for long. I think trees are coming down which is making the firehouse alarm go off. A lot of them are on stand by for evacuations, wires and trees coming down...this is bad. Lower Manhattan is flooded which means the subways will be too. I think the markets will be closed tomorrow too. Uh, just got word the fixed income markets are closed tomorrow...woohoo no commute for me!

I fully agree! Also, look into it because I think by law all insurance should cover a mammogram it is part of the well woman check I believe. My Mom had breast cancer and caught it very early, she had a lumpectomy and radiation but she didn't have to have chemo since it was caught early and hadn't spread. Cancer is something that the sooner you find it the better! That is why I'm going to get my culposcopy done, since they found suspect cells in my cervix. I think they are probably due to the dilation surgery I had done only 4 days before, but I'm not going to risk it. You are a brave and strong lady, and if you need us we will be here!

Ali - they don't cover my 'well woman' exams because I have a rider on my insurance policy that will not cover anything 'female' due to going through infertility treatments years and years ago. It's just a way for them to get out of paying... I got smart this year and decided to have my 'yearly' stuff done by my regular doctor instead of an OB/GYN so they covered because it wasn't a "well woman" exam, it was just a check up by my doctor. Not sure if they paid for the lab part of it, but at least I got the exam covered. I am getting this exam and the mamogram covered under Nebraska's Every Woman Matters program. I'm not going to cancel, but a part of me feels dumb for going in. I don't know why, I just do.

WOW.. sounds downright scary up there! Is your street flooded? Are your cars in a garage and safe? You really should get your DH to come home and ride out the storm with you. You guys can have some drinks and make it a fun time. Plus what happens if the roads and so on get impassable, then you'll be separated!

I'm doing OK down here in FL, weather is perfect compared to yours! I'm just worried about my doggie at the vet. She will be going under the knife any moment now.
if you have any questions about the tests, or what they mean when you go get them, just holler. OMG!!!! Just watching the devastation this storm is causing out there. I'm thinking of you. Hopefully none of you have to be putting up with this.
