Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Welcome to the forum, Angie!
I found this forum to be a fabulous source of inspiration and support! Looks like you and I are on the same journey. I had a round of clomid 100mg and that helped me get my bfp.... so hang in there, fingers crossed this cycle is the one for you!!

GreyEyes, after the tuna smell incident my DH guessed I was preggers and so I didn't go through with my plan... I did tell him what I was 'going' to do before he blew it by guessing and he was pleased as punch... I got to kiss Gil Gerrard so I guess I don't mind that the surprise was spoiled!
AFM.... I'm feeling so incredibly tired...I was going to go to work tomorrow, but now I think not so much. I was running around doing errands today and I am totally exhausted now.... I think tomorrow is a write off...
I don't know where you get your energy, GreyEyes!!
Marathongirl, Georgia.... how are you ladies doing?

Phil- sounds like you had fun at your convention! :) And on the calling in to work- if you feel too exhautsed take it easy. The exhaustion is not bound to fade with a day of rest however :( it sticks around. Study up on MS too- that happened for me about 6 weeks and continued until week 11 or so. What helped me was eating small snacks, e.g. crackers, salty foods, avoiding grease and anything hard to digest like eggs, etc. And for some reason Tobasco helped  But I have to admit having rest when you need it is so beneficial! Focus on your baby and doing what you have to--no time for madhouse activity! As far as my energy  I had a co-worker question me once and ask if I "took anything" to give me energy lol...nope  I think it is just determination and a high metabolism  Haven't heard from Marathongirl so I'm gonna go check out her chart :)

Jax41 and MissusO --glad to have you on board!!!

MarathongirlWelc- where are you

Hi Ladies,
Holy flip, this week has been hard on me. I was originally planning on working until September, but I just don't know how I'm going to be from one day to the next and it's not fair to my clients.
Telling them is going to be hard.... really hard.
*sigh* it's a happy reason, though..... :)
I am feeling so crummy this morning, I just want to crawl back into bed and start over...
I couldn't sleep for very long last night and I feel sick in the tummy this morning... this part goes away, right? I want to enjoy this pregnancy... it's probably it for me after this one!
ok, whinging over....
how's everyone else doing today?
phil.

Hi GreyEyes!
today wasn't so bad... I skipped a regular breakfast and just had some chia seeds with blueberry/pomegranite juice.... then a good lunch and supper.... but I never know exactly how I'm going to do until the day....
We are hosting a crowd of people at our house tomorrow to show the wedding video and celebrate with those we couldn't invite to the wedding.... yay! I get to wear my dress again! (while I still can!!)
hope everyone had a good weekend... I will check in with you guys on Sunday!
phil.

Thanks Grey Eyes I have missed you guys too! Things have been crazy busy since getting back from our vacation. Nothing like ramping up from 0-100 as soon as we stepped off of the plane. It was worth it though. So wanted to comment on the Robitussin,I took it from cd10-15 twice a day and I definitely noticed a difference in the amount and thinness of my cm!! I would recommend it! I also took EPO 1000mg a day from cd9-15 as well and it increases EWCM.
So thanks for the positiveness about my chart who knows where that came from. Temp still high today but lower?? I'm just hoping something sticks this month!!
How are you today?
How are you doing Phil??

Marathongirl - how's your temps today? Are you exhausted from vacation? :haha:

Phil- how was the party??

I just updated my chart. I get behind sometimes but I always come around! I'm feeling pretty good thanks. I am starting to feel uptight that things aren't happening fast enough. I'm trying to stay positive though. I have an apt with my FS on the 16th so I should know before that whether this is my month or not. EPO stands for evening promise oil. It's supposed to increase fertile cm so..... I think it worked.
I'm glad everything is good with baby. I can't wait for you to find out the gender!! Do you have any feelings one way or another as to what the gender is? Why have you been stressed lately? I'd it still that stuff you mentioned before? I'm glad you're feeling better:hugs:
