Coy - welcome, and yes, nobody is perfect, even if we all strive to be!!

I called around and the midwives are not able to help me, but they did suggest a Fertility Clinic about 40 minutes from my cottage. I called them and they do IUIs and can even do them for international patients (even though I am Canadian I no longer have CDN health insurance so that makes me international). She wasn't 100% sure about the cost, but felt it would be about $190 for the U/S, $25 for blood work to check LH surge, and $325 for the IUI, so that is actually cheaper than what I'm paying down here! HEHE. She is going to give me the fee schedule, and also let me know what information she needs from my current FS. YAY!!!! Now I don't have to wait

OOH.. that would be fun! We are tentatively aiming for July 9-11 for IUI. Of course all of that is dependent on when I get my AF! It hasn't arrived yet. How are you doing? AF come? Or are you still unsure of your status? Wouldn't a surprise be fun!

Ali- how long does doc want you to continue the progesterone? If AF doesn't show for another week or so and still bfn would he want you to stop?

Ali- how long does doc want you to continue the progesterone? If AF doesn't show for another week or so and still bfn would he want you to stop?

I stopped it today. I won't get my AF until I stop the progesterone. Since my temp dropped almost a degree this morning, I figured it was a safe bet that I am not PG. So now my AF should come in a day or 2. If it doesn't come, then I will take another HPT in a few days. I really don't feel pregnant, now that I'm off the progesterone, any of the symptoms that I had that I thought were PG symptoms have resided.

What is it with academic team-members? One never shows up and the other, when required to turn in a 4,000 word report hands me (Team Head) a 173 word report instead... with the attached comment "is this good enough?"

Good enough for what? My grampa would say something gruff like "good enough to wipe on" or some other loosley appropriate term......lol

It is hotter than hubbs of hell here right now, so we are all wearing sundresses (except for dh of course ) and have the air conditioner on...course it's only 90'ish I guess where you are at that's not bad

Contrary to what people think.. it really doesn't get too hot in FL.. I mean sure it will hit 90 but we either have a breeze off the ocean or afternoon and evening t-storms that cool us down.. plus I go to Canada where it is more temperate! :hehe:

No, AF is not here yet, but Auntie Spottie has been here for 4 days so far and my temps are still up (same as last month). AF is expected around Sat or Sun. Yes, a surprise would be awesome (and I still have a secret glimmer of hope), but realistically, it's not gonna happen for me this month.

My FF chart says I'll O around July 7-8. Funny thing is that we'll be with friends at a shared beach house the entire fertile period. Sorry friends, but we're going to have to while you're in the next room.

Anyway, it looks like we will be TWW buds, but I might be a couple days before you.

Morning Ladies

Well, my temp has dropped over 1 degree this morning and has gone below the coverline. :sad: so of course I now feel really negative. I still have the bad cramps, infact, they're worse this morning than they have been, but maybe thats because AF is on her way. My boobs and back still hurt. The sickness I felt yesterday lasted all day until I went to bed at 20:30hrs. I'm OK this morning,

Thing is, I never know how long my cycles are going to be, so it may be a month or 2 before I ovulate again, or it may be a 3 weeks. Oh well, I guess I'm still not through this cycle yet, so shouldn't feel too down until 'she' shows up.

Coy, your pic is gorgeous, just look at that cute little bump.

Ali, its not over yet, same as me I guess, we'll just have to try to remain hopeful over the next few days eh?

Terri- I took a look at your chart- I am wondering if it's Implantation dip? It oculd be at 7-8 dpo....sometimes it takes even longer to implant. As you said- not til the shows her ugly face!~ Btw- have you talked to a doctor about trying to regulate your cycles better? I am wondering what they would recommend?

Thanks Coy, I may have spoken too soon. LOL, just had to rush to the loo again. Not actually been sick, but just a load of retching again. Oh, I don't know whats going on.

I haven't been to the doctors about my cycles yet, but if I don't get PG this time, I might just do that, this is the longest one I've had since I've been charting, the last one ending at CD53. Its really hard to have cycles like this when you're TTC.

Terri looks like could be implantation dip which can happen 7-12 dpo,as for the stats I wondered about that as well as I have a no 5 to,wondered if it was how many symptoms u had put in

I wonder if its a countdown to their recommended test date???? I'll see if it goes down tomorrow.

Cool, well here is hoping for that I hope it happens, but if not, we can try again next month, maybe July is that special month? I don't really know when I will ovulate, I'll have a better idea once I get my period.

HMM.. yes Terri? Have you talked to them about that? I took something called d-chiro-inositol for about 2 months about 2 years ago, and it shocked my system back into being regular. Before that my periods were only regular if I was taking BCP. Seriously, it seemed to help. The science behind it is that PCOS women are missing this dCI thing, and it helps bind sugar to the cells, without it, we don't get the proper energy in our cells, and instead it gets converted to fat. I believe it somehow leads to insulin resistance which then increases the androgen levels, and wreaks havoc with our hormones. Course it could all be a bunch of BS! Who knows? But my crazy cycle did seem to bounce back into being normal after taking it for 2 months. That and I have heard a lot of good things about vitex too. I am considering using FertilAid this coming month since I won't be medicated, and see if it works at all.
