Oh, wow! I just had a horribly sharp, double me over pain followed by a gushy feeling. After I undoubled, I ran to the bathroom, and nothing - totally dry (tmi - sorry). I've been having short stabbing pains since then. Ouch! Have any of you ladies experienced this? I don't remember this in my other cycles. My first thought was a chemical pregnancy - but I don't even know if I'm pregnant.

I agree w/ Jess! Sounds like implantation. FX'd!

Afm, zero, zip, nada...just high anxiety, like face hot, heart pounding and I don't want to eat.

WOW! I don't know? I just had a really sharp pain around the middle right side. The place that I have been getting funky pains over the past few days. I have no idea what that is either.

Could it be pregnancy related? Maybe it is implantation?


I keep having waves of nausea, at first I thought it was just nerves, but I am not feeling nervous anymore, I'm quite calm and just working away. In fact I can't believe it is already almost 2pm! So hmm.. maybe my body was just a late bloomer, IDK?

Yeah, mine's to the middle left. I'm praying that it is implantation for both of us. I've also still been very irritable. I had to apologize to my daughter for being so snippy with her this morning when she was asking questions about her school assignment. Fortunately, I have a very understanding daughter.

Hey TerriLou!! Yes, five weeks til the show. But I am more focused on my thesis project at the moment. I graduate on December 15th at 2pm!! But what a great graduation present that would be as well! Baby baby baby!! It is so funny to me that I really want a baby now, even though when I was much younger I didn't think I wanted kids, and after my son, I didn't think I wanted more. But I want so badly to have babies with my BF... only him... He is the only one that has made me feel like I REALLY REALLY want children. Not even my ex-husband made me feel that way.

I just got home...been up and out since very early this morning, getting family fed, banking done, groceries bought, stuff ready for hospital...I decided instead of money to buy stuff from machines at the hospital it is cheaper to pack snacks...so did that instead No baby yet btw I got the shakes so am eating a pb&j and a glass of milk. Fatteniong stuff but right now I don't even care lol!

Ali- where in heck are you? It's been like...an hour Have they called you yet?

Still movement of course just not quick jabs, more like slow hard pushes. Cramped is all - I hope But will ask doc's opinion

I am good. I have an appt with my thesis advisor today. I am going to get the rest of my deadlines for the semester and a little help organizing my conceptual framework. I am so excited!! I graduate on December 15th at 2pm!! Masters!! First in my immediate family...

Lol, sounds like something my dh would say Always willing to help with perennial massage too but something tell me it wouldn't happen...correctly No, there are just some things a woman's gotta do herself LOL! And I know next-to-nothing about cp...I probably should study it but

Holy cow, Masters! Congrats Jess- that is a long haul, tons of study, and loads of determination! I am happy for you! that's my next goal. I'm not going to stop until I get my doctorate! As I am in mid-bachelor it'll be a while yet.

No PhD for me! I am just not that interested in research!! Yuck! And the writing is insane!! I like creative writing, not the technical and analytical writing required for a masters and PhD. Let me know if you need any papers, etc. I have tons saved from my Bachelors. I could email them to you!! Lol! But that will just be our BnB secret! Shhhhh!

Hello everyone...I just turned 43 last week in the midst of IVF#2 (DH is 41), after our 2WW went in for bloodwork this a.m. and just got the call with a BFN! Filled with so many emotions but overall disappoinnted. Our first failed IVF was back in May of this year; failed egg retrieval. 2nd IVF began 8/31 retrieved 9 eggs on 9/17/12; 6 fertilized; but only 4 made it for 3 day transfer on 9/20 (1@5, 1@6 and 2@8). Funny how I had all the symptoms thinking I was really pregnant...I suppose it was all those extra hormones playing a trick on my body. Feel like such a loser! I know I shouldn't but I do Don't know what is next...I was told to wait for my period and then schedule appt for consultation with my husband. I wonder if there is still hope for us...emotionally drained...

Def not a loser! IVF can be so hard as symptoms are hard to track, etc. I would say definately go for the consultation after you get your period and see what the FS has to say...Maybe if oyu try IVF again wait for the 5 day transfer? How many eggs did you transfer? If your eggs are healthy enough to fertilize and make it to blastocyst then I'd think your egg qaulity is good But there are things you can do to improve your egg quality in the meantime too, in fact I am in middle of researching just that! Don't let the "age factor" get you down, my doc said as long as you're healthy age really isn't too big of a factor How is your dh's SA?? Stay positive!
