Thanks Coy! I'm super excited but also a lot more relaxed this time. I won't get as crazy as I was last time! That is for sure!

I'm only putting 2 back, I just don't want to think about triplets! LOL! Although another woman on the IVF thread I'm on just found out today that she is having twins. She put 2 back and only one took but there are 2 heartbeats in the one sac! So it is possible to get identical twins out of IVF!

Saturday morning will be here before I know it! YAY!

Yes had positive, so done alot of BD before & on day of positive.All going well & even my BBT is showing that im ovulating fine so everything is loooking pretty good to now i suppose its just waiting for it tohappen.Bit nervouse that i might be a bit to old at 38 but fingers crossed i will be fine as my cycle seems to be running just the way it should lol

oooh thats good to hear...my mum also had hers done & had two other children...it took her 5 years to get pregnant though so really hoping that it doesnt take that long as time is passing for me

Quick update: My beta is still rising, but the sac is empty. So, I'm choosing a D&C to get this false pregnancy over with, so we can try again. It will probably happen early next week.

Smethurst- do you keep an online chart like with Fertility Friend? That way we chart stalkers have more info to read And no- 38 is NOT too old. I will be 38 in the spring and just gave birth to a gorgeous little girl

Ali- ooooo, what if you get twinsies AND a singleton? Lol, I agree with you though, two eggs would be perfect Tomorrow's the day! What do you have to do to prep? Got someone to take care of you and your pups for a couple days?

It blows my mind that a person can walk into an elementary school and kill 20 innocent children. I can not imagine how those parents are feeling. Just having your child go to school like any normal day and have them taken away because of a psycho. The principle and teachers who's lives were also taken. So heartbreaking.

Never - I know, I am shocked and saddened too. I haven't had too much time to read up on the shooting, do they have any idea why? It is just so senseless.

AFM - still at work.. was supposed to leave early! HAHAHA! I am heading out now, but it is just so frustrating that I can't take the time I need when I need it sometimes. Like now. I have 2 critical projects that I must complete before I go on vacation next week. One of which I was only given yesterday. I'm like really? You do realize that I'm supposed to be stress-free next week, and just coast? Apparently that is not in my company's vocabulary. That is why I stayed late tonight to get things done. This way come next week I won't have as much hanging over me

I'm home! I'm also relaxed.. as relaxed as I can be anyway. I wanted to get as much done today so I wouldn't have to worry about it too much next week. I feel like I did that. Oh and guess what? I'm on call tomorrow from 8am Saturday until 8am Sunday! I'm like, how am I going to swing that? Lying flat on the procedure table for 2 hours tomorrow morning? I got someone to cover for me from 8am-2pm tomorrow. That should give me plenty of time to get my procedure done, and get home. I'll put my laptop on a breakfast in bed tray for the remainder of the time. I worry about the valium? I'll be a little groggy! It is the best I can do, and I tried to swap my day with someone else but I couldn't find anyone that could trade. So it is what it is!

Coy - yep the procedure is tomorrow.. 9:30 am until about 11:30. My Mom is going to save the day and take me to/from and help me with a few things around the house since I will be bed ridden. Super Mom! I hope one day to be as awesome as a Mom as she is. She rocks!

So I just finished my Christmas card, it is one of those photo cards you can do. My Mom has been bugging me for years to make one for her, so I finally did it with pictures from out cruise last Christmas and pictures of the dogs/cats. So now she has a photo card to send to all her friends. We'll pick it up on our way home tomorrow. You should have seen how excited she was when I called and told her about it!

So that is what is going on around here.. I will update you on the procedure and what we transferred and what/if anything was left to freeze.

The police said they have no motive yet. The shooter had Asperger's so had personality disorder.

Today I went to acupuncture and he gave me extra needles and electrodes for my arms which were hurting from fibromyalgia. He also rubbed Biofreeze after which felt really good but pain is coming back now in my right arm.

Thanks Never! I'm very blessed to have the family I have, they are incredible. I share my mom with my brother (jokingly). Half the year she is in Canada with him and the other half she is down here with me!

I do miss Barbados! Such a great island nation! I bet you miss your mom and home. Do you go visit her too? I'm so sorry your fibromyalgia is acting up. Are there any additional wholistic treatments for it that you could try? Hopefully it will be better tomorrow

Morning Ladies

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you all! I've been running ragged with work. So I have 7 perfect embryos still kicking, and others that are a little behind, but might still be OK for freeze on maybe Sunday? The 7 are all 8 cell and have little to no fragmentation. YAY! That is basically the highest level of embryo you can have on Day 3!!! So my transfer will be on Saturday. I have to be there at 9:30 for acupuncture, and then the transfer will be at 10:30 then I rest for 30 mins then I have another 1/2 hour session of acupuncture and then I go home and am on bed rest Sat/Sun. I think that if the 7 keep growing then we'll have some to freeze as I'm only going to transfer 2 back. I'm a little disappointed that more weren't 'perfect' but hey.. I have 7 and that is 2 more than last time!!!

Ali: that is fantastic! On day 5, I had 1 top blast, 1 blast, and 3 cavitating embryos. We transferred 1 and 3 more made it to freeze. So, with 7 perfect on day 3 and a couple stragglers, I think your odds are VERY good for getting s!

Thinking of you today and crossing my fingers for what I know will be a successful procedure!!!

Firsttry - I hope you get this behind you asap. Your positive attitude is amazing. You are quite a strong woman. I know the next try will be successful.

Coy - I'm loving the FB pics of the girls!! They look soooo cute all dressed up. I love the one of them snooping by the tree...classic.

Afm, I just cannot wrap my head around the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. I know it appears as a vendetta against the shooter's Mother, I just cannot imagine what it must have been like for the parents to show up to find out their children were killed and they couldn't be moved until the forensics of the crime scene were finished. I just can't imagine the hurt, sorrow, grief, and the need to find an explanation for why this happened. I pray for the families.

Yesterday was the funeral of my best friend's Dad, he was sick and took a bad fall. He was 84 and had such a full life. My friend is 5mos pregnant after a mmc and displaced after the hurricane destroyed her apt bldg...so much on her plate. What I told her yesterday was told to me by a woman I commute with on the train, she is Chinese. In the Chinese culture, one family member has to pass for one to be born. She found comfort in this especially since she is going finishing up her degree in Chinese medicine. I pray for her and her family as well.

On the ttc front, FF has put ovu on cd14, and we only bd cd 9, 11 and 12...missing the day before and the day of...so not really hopeful. I have a follow up with the RE on Wed so dh's SA and blood should be back by then. I am wondering what she will say and suggest. I am also wondering if I should skip the Clomid/Femara and just go right to IUI. Is it very costly? Are drugs still needed?

When I had my 2 ivf cycles I wouldn't have been so bummed out if I had a or 2 but I didn't have any so I knew if I had a negative beta it would be back to square one.

I am thinking positive thoughts for alicatt. Her embryos are doing great and she will soon PUPO Yay!
