Was nervous to try this month... since I had my femvue on cd9 and was on antibiotics until cd 13. Had positive opk on cd 14 and cd 15. Today is cd 17. on cd 15... sore on cd 16.

BTW.. my good good friend had triplets with IUI on her first try. They told her it would be tough to get pregnant. They are now 3 years old.

We did 3 days of blood tests... femvue, sono and sperm analysis... We discussed the femvue, sono and sperm analysis and we haven't discussed the blood tests. I'm going to follow up with an appointment.

I never knew that ovulation occurs up to 4 days before. I just started thinking that I may be misunderstanding when I ovulate. I thought it happens when you get positive OPK's and we have been holding off for a couple of days before the projected time. What is strange... my breasts get really sore after the surge. Don't know if that just started happening or if I just started realizing it because I am using OPKs. I get a sore throat and feel run down until my period. I sometimes hope that the soreness is a potential positive..but I come to learn that it is not.

I used to always get sore breasts after ovulation and before AF..... this time.... I had tender breasts after ovulation but only for a couple of days.... then nothing.... no tenderness at all.... UNTIL after my bfp! then they hurt like a SOB!!!

You are likely ovulating around CD 14-16, but you are fertile about 4 days before then so you should start everyday around CD 10-12 and keep it up until I day after your OPK is positive.

You are likely ovulating around CD 14-16, but you are fertile about 4 days before then so you should start everyday around CD 10-12 and keep it up until I day after your OPK is positive.

I agree! Keep going until at least the day after the positive OPK, or the day after that!! When I did the IUI they had us come in the day AFTER the OPK was positive....

When I'm sitting or lying down I don't feel very much, but the occasional cramp or twinge. I tested this morning but it was negative. I didn't expect it to be positive, but at least we know the trigger is out! I'm only 3dp5dt (8dpo). I think I will wait again until Thursday morning. See what we get then.

Ali you are being naughty. No testing at 8dpo. It is too early and you need to stay relaxed and thinking positive!!
When I had my ivf I didnt test till the day before beta. I think it is normal that you have the cramping only when you are moving around

Samsfan when I got my bfp I was on antibiotics and I read they can help get rid of bacteria and I have known several women get pregnant while on antibiotics.

afm- I did exactly what Ali said this morning. I crawled back into bed after dh left for work. Fibromyalgia has me feeling achey all over. Especially my arms. I think I am out of the game this month since my temps are on their way down. I am having pink spotting at 10 dpo like last month so starting to suspect another fibroid though af was heavy when I had one and it isnt now.

Ali you are being naughty. No testing at 8dpo. It is too early and you need to stay relaxed and thinking positive!!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling all that well, no fun Have you scheduled any appts to see if you have another fibroid? Might be worthwhile looking at that in the new year.

My gyno thinks I should have a laparoscopy because he suspects I have endometriosis and it could be what is damaging the quality of my eggs if it is on the ovaries. Made an appointment for dh to go to the urologist also. My sister in law died 1 year 3 months ago of breast cancer and I promised her I would make sure he got tested regularly to make sure he doesnt get prostate cancer or testicular cancer.

Good plan. My Mom is super stressed out about me and some form of female cancer from all the meds they put in me for IVF. She keeps asking me if I will go and get 6 month checkups, I'm like YES. I will. Especially after the cervix scare I had, which I found out last week was negative! YAY! Not sure if I told you ladies that it was negative

Ali you are PUPO. The hpt's dont detect the hcg for everyone is different and I woudn't like you to start worrying. Worry is a negative. Visualize your 2 embies growing and you will not feel the need to test. Don't get me wrong I love to poas but I refuse to do it when I am pupo. It is just a matter of having patience to wait for confirmation when you have your beta

After my first ivf they saw abnormal cells on my cervix also and I had to have a colposcopy. 5 month after this last ivf I had another pap and everything was normal which made me think the same thing you said maybe the fertility drugs cause strange paps results. Doc said I no longer need to go every 6 months but just every 3 years.

WOW! Every 3 years? Even before the bad pap and the normal culposcopy I was going yearly, and they wanted me to go yearly. Now I have to go every 6 months.

My Mom was told they didn't need to see her but every 2 years for a mammogram, but she (luckily) does her own breast exams and found a tiny lump about 6 months after her mammogram (when they told her to come back in 2 years). She wonders what that lump would have been like 18 months later! So when Dr's say that to me, I will always say thanks but no thanks, we'll see you in 6 months or maybe a year! I might not have my Mom here today if she had listened her Dr. I know that is a rare instance, but I figure, I have insurance, they are going to pay for it whether I go 1 time a year or 2 times a year, so I figure 2 times is better (well unless it is extra radiation which a mammogram is).

Never - don't worry.. I tested this morning more out of curiosity about my trigger. I didn't expect it to be positive. I am not going to test again until Thursday or maybe Friday? I wasn't upset, and my acupuncturist gave put some extra needles in to open up the positive vibes. It isn't that I am worried or upset that it was negative, I'm just being more cautious this time, since last time didn't work. I sat there through my entire session visualizing my embryos and patting my belly

My Mom is going to be at my house mid-day Friday, I'm now wondering if I should work from home? Only issue is that I have to go in for a progesterone test on Friday at 9am, so then I'm closer to work than I am to home? Maybe I'll just leave early.

No bfp for me again af turned up on cd 23 before I even got chance to test ( bought some tests today got home went to pee and greeted with af gutted as only a 22 day cycle this month and 8 day lp.

AWW.. so sorry Alin.. Sounds like you might need to go see that FS afterall? If only to get some progesterone supplementation? I'd wait until the new year though, sounds like you have a lot going on at your house with the holidays, etc. I know I'm just going to try my best to get caught up in the holiday spirit and try not to think about being PUPO!

Samsfan- just curious- when you get your positive opk is that when you start bd'ing? Ideally it is best to start about 5 days before and continue through your pos opk---this gives time to travel btw-your friend triplets on Iui

Andrea- I have to say I love your attitude! I wouldn't walk it either! lol

FirstTry- to you!! I've been there...D and C is terrible to go through , you'll start feeling better soon! Ibuprofen helps.

Btw- great looking chart so far! Your temps are super high this month! And still well over cover line at 98.8 Did you get a positive opk this month? Your chart doesn't indicate.....

Ali- I agree with Phil, I am wondering if your former attempts weren't maybe thwarted by incompatible or non-working sperm? Plus I think your GF diet has helped... I seriously think this is your month, get ready for And changing diapers lol Love your PUPO signature btw!! re:cramping...yes, ignore your body for the next few days...some pretty odd stuff goes on during PG!! Yay for trigger being gone! All from here!

Phil- I kept testing hcg too after my bfp I didn't relax until I felt her kicking Totally normal lol How are you feeling? Are you spreading out now? For some reason with this last pregnancy my hips just killed for the last few weeks (I am sure you all still remember my complaining )

Chantal- Fibromyalgia is awful, I def agree with resting today! And kudos to you for making dh get tested!! I nag my dh too but he is very conscious of his health, so that helps.

Alin- I agree with Ali- what are your thoughts re:seeing an FS??


Angel- did I see on here you are cleared for ttc again ??! Yay!!!

Hello Coy How are you doing? Have you sorted out which classes you will be taking? I just looked back at posts I had missed and saw the cute photos of your 3 girls. So adorable!!
I think making 2 fruit cakes yesterday is the reason my arms are hurting so much today. Dh said he is replacing my handmixer with a stand-up one. I really didnt want to spend the money on it since I try not to make too many desserts. I dont like taking painkillers in 2ww but had to take some tylenol. I'm still taking aspirin once a day. I am wondering if maybe that is causing my spotting at 10 dpo.

Ali they changed it recently. i heard on Dr OZ that if your pap and hpv test are negative and everything is fine then you can go every 3 years. When I asked my gyno he usually says in 6 months. This time he said 3 years. I will be going sooner than that since I will eventually be doing ivf again with donor egg. I have to go every 6 months for mammogram though.

I asked the doc for blood results. He said all looks norMal except for vitamin d. I asked for a copy of my tests. He didnt do fhs he says because we would have to do that on day 2 or 3 of my cycle and he says he didnt think it was necessary as i have active ovaries. My amh is .53. When i emailed him about that he said I have normal ovaries for someone my age. Anyway, im goibg to see him tomorrow to further discuss.

Eyes. Yes iui w triplets. Im also going to start working on 5 days before my opk!!!!!!! Duh. The older i get the more im too careful.

Samsfan.. before your appt check online about AMH so you have questions to ask with respect to your ovarian reserve. Your AMH is an indication of diminished ovarian reserve and this is possibly why your FS suggested going right to IVF. I'm surprised that they don't want to do the day 3 hormone tests, as that can help further diagnose diminished ovarian reserve. Don't worry too much about it as they have protocols that have proven to be very successful with woman with diminished ovarian reserve.

Ahem, AFM- K, let's see, it was butt cold here today so I tried to stay in. Didn't do any good I ended up having to run errands anyway, lol. I got some books in the mail that I ordered YAY!! I hope I get time to read some of them....historical type, all true stuff, you know- archaeological things like the search for the Ark of the Covenant and such...

I have been testing my temp in the morning when I wake up and it keeps reading in the 97's but I am double checking eith my thermometer to make sure I am planting it rright. I use one in my mouth and have to be careful the position. Anyways, neg on opk lately but LOADS (sorry, tmi ) of ewcm! Can you get that if you're not ov'ing? Anyway I told dh to be careful but he seems to be, uh, NOT so careful lately...I guess whatever God chooses is okay with me but I'd seriously like to get back in shape first!

Maybe drink a cold beer with next years Superbowl and some bada$$ kickboxing lessons first............

Working on choosing a ocuple extra courses, maybe I'll post'em on here so you ladies can help me choose, lol, as I am undecided at this point......

You look like your in great shape from the pic. How much did you gain during your pregnancy? I have this never ending battle weight vs. trying to have a baby. I'm totally over what weight I would like to be... but stress and life get in may way. My greatest fear is gaining more weight if I am lucky enough to get pregnant. Tomorrow Going to spin tomorrow am... but it is all about what I eat! I'm trying to keep current with posts... But just got home.. Work all day then 2 work related holiday parties after work... then a bit of Christmas shopping.
