Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Ali - thanks for the pic of Zach. He is so cute :) I do that too forget to attach pics so figured that's what happened lol

Coy- so glad your case was dismissed. I was amazed they kept it going this long! Sheesh. Sorry that they wasted so much of your time and gave you stress.:nope:

AFM- I had ovulation cramping all day but a neg opk. It's only cycle day 7
I usually ovulate day of or day after cramping. I don't like to start bd every other day so early in cycle because of dh's low quality :spermy:
I don't see any ewcm. What do you ladies think?

Coy I just looked at your chart. It looks good  Awesome your cycle is normal so soon after having your baby. Ovulated on cd 15 and temps are going up and down. Now we have to watch and see if they stay up there :) :dust:

Seems normal  re: my cycle...I had some pink spotting this morning so not sure. It may develope into Af .....

Well since you ovulated cd 15 af isn't due for another 5 days right? Could be implantation spotting.

I'm the worst about determining cycles. I knew mine before I started meds, but now it is totally  Plus I dare say that we are entering that time of our lives where even the most regular cycles could end up being not so. Simply due to our bodies aging :(

I haven't spoken to my Mom in days, and I emailed her and she didn't respond. I just called, no answer? What is going on? I need her help with decisions! UGH. Where oh where is she?

I'm going to have to get up and move here in a minute or 2, gotta go run a few errands. Just not sure what I feel like for dinner. HMM.

Since you love them so much.. here is this mornings photo..

Zoe is under the covers (normal)
Zach is on top (typical)

Alarm goes off, they don't move, I get up and have a shower, still no movement, I attempt to strip the beds to get the sheets into the laundry, must pick them up and MOVE them. I swear they are not morning dogs (unless I want to sleep, and then they are up and ready to go) :grr:

Ali - Zach and Zoe are such a cute couple. Do you think they will have puppies some day? :)

Ali you are like me. I always like to get my Mom's opinion on things. That is why I was stalling on the egg donor. She believes that since I was nearing menopause and women often have unexpected babies at my age, it could work out in my favor. My Dad has 9 siblings and they are all 1-2 years apart except for him. He was born 10 years after my aunt. His Mom was 43. Age isnt an issue if I'm not using my eggs so I don't see why we should rush either.
Enjoy your dinner ladies. My honey mustard curry chicken smells so good if dh is late I may go ahead and eat without him :haha:

LMAO  NOPE! No puppies here. They are both spayed/neutered. Plus Zoe is 10 and Zach is a little over a year. Even if Zoe wasn't spayed she is too OLD! I did hear of a wiener dog that was celebrating his 20th birthday yesterday. :saywhat: I didn't realize wieners could live that long. Zoe is in great shape, but I'm sure she would have gone through doggie menopause by now! She was given a clean bill of health back in August, only thing that gets her down I think is some arthritis, but she gets glucosomine/condrointin treats and seems to be improving. I actually give them to both Zach and Zoe (Zach pouts if he doesn't get a treat too).

OMG.. if I were you I'd be POASing. From what I'm seeing, and from all I know due to the whole IVF thing. You had an implantation dip on 7DPO which is perfect implantation timing, and usually it takes a few days for the IB to happen, so 9-12DPO is the norm for IB. CRIMINEY.. I think you are PREGGERS again!!

Are your temps accurate? IE.. really BBT? No delay? If so, then you might be pregnant. Seriously. If they weren't taken at the same time, then I think there is some possibility that your are seeing the beginnings of your period. It is one of the 2! So if it were me I would be POAS :test:

I'm still not convinced you need to go to donor eggs. I think the chances of a surprise natural BFP with your medical history are slim. Poor response to previous IVF and your fibromyalgia are probably going to make that option unlikely (not impossible) but unlikely. That is because fibromyalgia is an autoimmune issue right? So I'm thinking that you need a second opinion, and one that is able to work on both fertility issues, an autoimmune issues. So a RE/RI. They do exist. Once you've had that review, and they agree that you have to go the DE route, then fine.. go for it. I still think you need to get a second opinion.

Coy - more to the point how long were your cycles before you got pregnant? Did you have spotting for a few days before AF appeared? HMM.. I still say :test:

Jen? Did you test?? what happened?

Ali did you notice how Coy disappeared when I told her it could be implantaion bleeding? She must have gone to :test:

Dh is still at work so as soon as chicken is done I am eating without him lol

The first time I got pregnant I had celiac disease and the rheumatologist said that is probably why I miscarried. It is also an autoimmune issue and miscarriage is one of the causes of untreated celiac. I have been gluten-free for 2 years and fibromyalgia is not not constant like before so I am still hoping for a miracle. I will have to start all over again with a new FS and this time it won't be covered.

OMG- I gotta say reading your ladies posts always makes me feel better and feel like laughing! From Chantala "Coy disappearing to test" to Sam's "I feel like poo!" comment ! LOL :haha: I will admit though I sobered pretty quickly when I read Ali's post "that time of our lives" :growlmad: lol! That smarted! :sad2: lol! JK, not really :haha:

Ah, anyway I feel good after reading your 2 whole pages!! Yes, I think AF has arrived. Very light but pretty steady. Anyway I have a gripe....I like to treat myself with full-fat ice cream or whip cream when I DO treat myself right? Mmmmmmmm :cloud9: Anyway I decided "Hey, AF is here- I'm gonna make myself a treat..." So I make an espresso and reach in the fridge to get my brand new container of full fat whip creme...and it's GONE. :saywhat:

I am slowly beginning to suspect my dh......and him a diabetic! Criminal :trouble:

......he always eats the centers out of my fresh-baked cinnamon rolls too-every single one .....

Chantal- r u 21dpo?? Have you tested?

21 dpo? :saywhat: Nooo Coy I am 7dpo and having ovulation cramping already. I was looking at your chart and calculating YOUR cycle when I said :af: must be 5 days away :winkwink:
I agree with you. Full fat Icecream is the first thing I reach for when the :witch: gets me.

Samsfan the only thing that will help you feel better from the flu is lots of rest. Are you off from work?

Sorry.. didn't mean to single you out. I meant that as we get closer to 40 we do have shortened LPs and we do have funky cycles on occasion. We are still fertile, but it is the beginning of the end

HMM.. is your whip creme the kind that comes in a can and you can spray it? I'm thinking DD's if it is. We get that kind of whip creme at the holidays and I caught my brother over Christmas with the can upside down and a mouthful of creme!

I'm so very exhausted, I'm going to bed and its not even 9pm! Strangely enough, my doggies decided they weren't ready for bed and ran back downstairs? They crack me up! Zach has this need for certain toys to be upstairs and certain ones to be downstairs. Well this morning in advance of the cleaning ladies, I dutifully picked up all the toys and put them in their toy basket. Well ALL of the toys I brought downstairs made it back upstairs by the time the cleaning ladies were here  wasn't me! Always the same toys too. The purple lizard, the green/grey bobcat and his favorite the blue dinosaur, all back upstairs. :argh: I give up!

Night ladies!

So Coy I suspect your glad that AF arrived.....wooooohhhhhhh.... :bodyb:

Wow..... your DH is taking a chance eating the centers.....

It is so cold here.....:cold: Don't know how you do it Greyeyes I'm so confused why do people call you Coy too??????

I feel like poo.... I week of bad eating.... sore breasts... blemishes forming...emotional and insecure about my decisions which I have to make everyday! Work is stressfulllllll. Think AF is on the way.:af:

Today I logged on fb to find an old friend had her fifth child... she's 120 lbs and gorgeous and just had her FIFTH! So where did I go wrong? I have no choice to focus on work and I think its interfering with my babymaking:shrug: I know I sound like I'm complaining.

Nevergiveup I agree you don't need donor eggs yet. Can you get a second opinion?

Ali- your dogs are adorable.

I need a vacation.:plane:
