HAHAHAHAHA! Good for the Ravens, and maybe you'll get lucky tonight too? :haha: Purple underwear?

The cramping makes me think I am surely not pregnant. I know some cramping can be normal during the first trimester, but this feels the same as last month. On the other hand, I am having symptoms that are new for me. I am SO tired, have been since Monday. For example, on Wednesday, I woke up at 10:30 (I NEVER sleep that late! I am usually up by 7.) Then I took a nap from 2 to 5, and went to bed at midnight. If my period hasn't come in a few days, I will test, but I feel like I am going to start anytime. I was due on Thursday, but since I took Clomid on days 5-9, that might have pushed my due date back to CD30, which was yesterday. Chantal,I don't do bbt. I maybe should. Coy, that story about your aunt is appalling! Good for you and your siblings to deny them the opportunity to ostracize the poor woman. I am surprised your uncle didn't say "we are leaving" and get his wife out of there! You are totally right, their ability to deny the reality of their bigotry is amazing. My mother-in-law assumes all black people are criminals, but since her husband is Hispanic, she firmly believes she is not a racist. I have pointed out that black and Hispanic are not the same, and that if Hispanic people can be racist toward blacks, I fail to see why being married to one precludes the possibility!

I have heard plenty a woman say.. I was 100% convinced AF was going to arrive each day, and each day she didn't. The cramping (if pregnant) is due to 2 things. The embryo implanting and your uterus stretching in anticipation of the pregnancy. :test: :happydance:

JenSc I agree with Ali on this. :test:

Yes Ali I do get lucky when the Ravens win! Dh looked across and read this and laughed. Hey I could have posted it on FB. You ladies won't tell his buddies

You ladies make me laugh! :haha: Chantal--too funny :winkwink:

:shhh: everyone is asleep...I am tiptoeing off for a quiet cup of tea and honey :cloud9: :wine: would be beter but I'm good w/it!

HEHE.. it is good to laugh and have fun. It raises our endorphins and gives us natural highs. :)

Enjoy your tea.. soon you will be able to have :wine: If it makes you feel any better I didn't have any alcohol this weekend, and I can't remember the last drink I had? Maybe 2-3 weeks ago? It just isn't a priority right now.

It is now 11pm and I'm yawning my head off, doggies are in bed, and I am going to go push them out of my spot and join them. Night all!

Hey Ladies, OK, so I've been MIA again, been on snow watch for a while. Glad I didn't have to go in to the office today, I scraped about 6 inches off my car this morning ready for my Docs appointment this afternoon.

Well, as expected, DHs results came back really good, they didn't give us the results though, so can't check for myself, he said something was 15.6 and something else was 85 and he said it was all good.

Next step, he's referred me to a Gynaechologist at the Hospital, so I'll have to wait for them to send me the appointment, but he reckons they'll put me on 'some pills' to help with my fertility. We'll see. I'll report more when I know more.

Sorry I've not been keeping up with whats been going on. Keep going online, signing in to BNB, then getting sidetracked with Family Tree stuff or something.

Hope all is well with everyone, oh and Jen, :test: LOL!

Chat again soon Lovely Ladies. :dust:

Tracey - sounds like you are moving forward (albeit slowly) and making progress! Glad to hear your DH was in good shape. I bet they will hook you up with some metformin and clomid and you'll be right as rain!

The big news that has occurred recently:

1) Phil had her baby! :yipee:
2) Chantal (Never) is hopefully going to get a second opinion on her issues
3) Samsfan has a thyroid issue that need to be resolved
4) Jen is late and won't test.. :test: :haha:
5) Coy is working on getting her life back to normal with 3 kids and school etc
6) BabyWhisper is somewhat MIA but working on her fertility with acupuncture and getting her DH off propecia
7) BabyDust had a MC and is recovering and going to see a FS
8) Alin and Jess have been MIA for a while, but we wish them well and miss them!
9) Angel is starting to try again we think?
10) ME - I have elevated NK cells which are attacking the embryo before it implants. I'm having a trial cycle in Feb to ensure my endometrium is looking good, then in March we'll do a real FET cycle and do an infusion of IVIg to help suppress the evil NK cells so the embryo can implant!

 Don't be a stranger!

Thanks Ali for the updates.

Woohoo, Phil, congrats, I hope you little girl isn't keeping you awake too much.

Chantal and Samsfan, I hope you can get you issues sorted out.

Jen, again, :test: LOL!

Coy, you never cease to amaze me with all your energy, or you Ali for that matter, I've seen your list of jobs you've got and the hours you've been working lately. I'm worn out just reading about it!

Babydust, I'm so sorry for your loss, hopefully you will get the help you need from the FS. My thoughts are with you. :hugs:

Isn't the issue with NK cells the same as Angel has? I'm sure thats what she has mentioned before. Well, I hope your trial and the real procedure go ahead without a hitch.

I was really annoyed when I got to the Docs office, they phoned me earlier to see if I could change my appointment to 2pm, well, DH works an hour away and can't just drop everything in the middle of his day, and I was finishing work early at 3, so they managed to bring it forward 30 minutes to 4pm. When we got there, they had changed the Doctor. I had specifically said that I wanted to see a particular Doctor, but they changed it. Grrrr, made me so mad, why didn't they tell me it would be a different one. The one we saw was so laid back, I felt like winding up the key in his back, he didn't seem to have much enthusiasm, but I guess we got what we wanted out of it.

The snow here seems to be mucking everything up, lots of people not making it in to work etc. I'm not looking forward to my drive in tomorrow morning. I like to look out of the window at the snow, but I hate being in it.

Ali, I think we need you at our office, they're updating the whole system at the moment. We were made to take Friday off work while they started it. I've been 'at work' all day today, but the systems still aren't working, so all I've managed to do is archive 3 emails! Woohoo, go me!!!!!

I'd be happy to make a trip across the pond! I miss snow, and I love digging into issues! I just got a new issue to dig into. Should be fun! I'm such a geek! :haha:

Hi ladies! :hi:

Tracey- :wohoo: So glad to hear from you! I missed you :hugs" Your quote " I've been 'at work' all day today, but the systems still aren't working, so all I've managed to do is archive 3 emails! Woohoo, go me!!!!! " made me laugh! There are days just like that when it feels like we are running in place :haha: Enjoy your semi-day off  Glad you are getting good reports back! How's the new diet/exercise plan going? You are attending meetings did you say? I bet that makes it fun!

Ali- you are not a geek! Well...maybe a little  JK!!! You are just good @ what you do  Headaches any better? I am gla you have a plan...what do you mean "trial run" in February? Like stimming?

Sam- how are you today?

Jen- have you tested??....??

Chantal- how was you long weekend?

Angel, Jess, Alin, Andra, Babywhisperer, Babydust, JandK--love you all, miss hearing from you!!:hugs:

AFM- had another good morning...I have decided when I first get up to don my gym clothes that way when Aeryn takes her long morning nap I can go run or jog!...w/o having to change. Time savers are important, lol...so I went for a run this morning, did my weight routine, made breakfast for everyone, had my protein shake....now getting dd's squared away on school...

I am thinking if I have time trying to finish up my garage so i can pull out my weight bench set...it was looking pretty darn good in there this fall then dh decided to "help"...anyway a huge pile of unidentifiable "stuff" needs to get tossed so I get my room back! He used my weight bench set to PILE THINGS ON!!! NNnnooooo!!! Aaargh!!! :loopy: lol!

I know.. Tracey made me laugh too. I've had days like that! :haha:

So the trial cycle is just that. We take the whole cycle next month and prepare my uterus for nothing! The plan is to give me all the normal meds they do in a FET (estrogen and progesterone) and then do 2 uterine biopsies. The first will be right at the beginning of when they think the implantation window might be, and then the next one will be a few days later. They can look at the biopsy and determine if I am indeed in the window, or if it hasn't happened yet, or if it is already over. Once they have that information, they will know when to place my embryo in my uterus. So all of that will happen in February, then in March we'll do it all over again, but this time we'll transfer 2 little embryos!

Luckily they are only prescribing estrogen (suppository) and progesterone (shot) so that shouldn't be too bad. They had originally said something about using an estrogen patch, and I was going to have to stick them all over my body! I wasn't too excited about that. Apparently the endometrium is really easy to insert and it dissolves into nothing, so no discharge or anything (sorry TMI). So that is the plan!

Right now I'm in a waiting game waiting for AF to appear. Hurry up AF! LOL.

Thought I would check in. There is nothing to report. I had my positive opk today. We are doing IUI in March and April. For now im just charting. I have been going to the accupuncturist and she is giving me herbs each time I go for different parts of the cycle. Its relaxing but im not sure its doing anything. We shall see. She seems very knowledgable but she looks like a small blonde sorority girl. I have bought a fitbit pedometer that measures steps and activity. Excited to get started using it. My 40th birthday is coming March 4 and im not taking it well.

Hello everyone...

Ive been out of it for a couple of days.

Grey eyes- Tear that carpet up~! My house is all wood floors ...so easy to clean. A little bit of murphy's oil and your good to go. Sounds like you got in a good workout. Isn't it freezing out by you? Burrrrr

JandK--Good luck... exciting times.. Don't worry about the age... I'm one to talk.. right guys?

So .. I had a retirement party on Friday night. Saturday I woke up and did some shopping, went to Mohegan Sun, while my hubby and father went to watch the fight. I grabbed a martini and sat in the lobby and drafted a part of my project that is due tomorrow. It was fun...Did a little gambling..but lost:blush: Then went to church Sunday morning.. had a personal baby shower for a cousin on Sunday and ran home to work on my project again. This morning work... and more writing(project). I'm preparing for a stressful week:growlmad: Somehow, I have to squeeze in my blood test one of these morning. Where does the time go?

btw..my breasts are finally sore.... so I have no clue when I ovulated. I need time off just to figure that out.

Ali March is right around the corner! You must be so excited to have your :cold: transfered!! I am confused though, if you are getting progesterone shots who do you have to use endometrin progesterone suppositories too? For egg donor they also only give you estrogen and progesterone so no gonadotropins.

Coy if your carpets were covered by that ugly carpet then they must be in good condition  We had a house fire here the month after we got engaged so inside of the house had to be completely gutted. I had to use a 3d planner to remodel the kitchen which was very small. We had an addition put on so we would have a separate living and dining room. Basically we got rid of the very small garage. Our house is now open plan like what I was used to in Barbados and when people walk into the house they say how open it is. Apparently people here love walls?

I had 12 oysters and dh had 8 so had our fill of aphrodistiac :haha: They didn't have a choice for the lobster like they usually do of steamd or ginger scallion (fried). They only had fried and so not gluten free so I skipped it and just had a few more oysters and some chocolate covered strawberries for dessert! The Hobbit was only in Imax 3d and I normally hate having to put on the glasses but I totally enjoyed the movie and the 3d was definately worth it for this movie. The eyeglasses actually stayed on my face this time lol

Hello Terrilou, Jandk and Samsfan and anyone else who might stop by :hi:

JandK- yay! I wondered how you were! glad to hear from you :hugs: Your cycles look nice and regular...bet you get your crosshairs soon!

Sam- yes, it has been sub zero here...-5 or something at night. During the day it "warms up" to 15 degrees or so. I just get my heartrate up for 10 minutes or tereabouts, I don't run too far in the cold :cold: How are you doing??

Hello Terrilou, Jandk and Samsfan and anyone else who might stop by :hi:

Dh and I love open floor plans too  My hope by midsummer is to have my wood floor, my gym finished (garage remodeled), and a tan!! lol!

Oh yes I use to be a tanning girl before i moved here and now I am all pasty white and always trying to hide my legs :haha: I can't wait to tan when we got to Barbados in a month! I have to take it easy as I burn so easily now.

Just realized I made some typos. I will just blame it on the oysters. I am a little giggly tonight and haven't had any alcohol :haha:
