Went to the ER.....

Turned out to just be gas....

Lol... How embarrassing. I was in so much pain for 24 hours I thought I was dying. Tried holding out another day until my appointment but the pain was so bad it brought me to tears and laying on the bathroom floor. I thought something was seriously wrong...

Tylenol didn't do anything but made me feel worse.

Was on the monitor for 8 hours... Had ultrasound of upper organs...

Found nothing.

Walked out of there with my head down in shame.

Felt like I wasted everyone's time. I'm happy nothing was seriously wrong... But oh my gosh did I feel rediculous.

Please tell me I'm not alone!

Yup the first time I had trapped wind when pregnant I thought I was going to die, Its amazing how painful it can be

Oh I've been crippled on the floor with gas before. The first time I thought my appendix had burst.

Better to be safe and get things checked out when they are out of the ordinary.

Aw, don't feel like you wasted anyone's time. It's their job to reassure you if something isn't wrong.

With my first I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid and the nurses made me feel like such an idiot when it wasn't. So embarrassing and ticked me off to.

Pregnancy is so full of worries its only natural to worry. You wouldn't be a good mama if you didn't worry, even if it ends up not being something you needed to worry about

Thanks for the replies! Glad I'm not the only one who thought gas was killing them. Lol. I atleast swore I had a gall stone or something. The pain is horrendous. I keep getting it any time I eat. :/ I really hope this isn't something that continues Everytime I eat until baby is born... Not sure I could continue living like this. :S

Haha I was the opposite! I thought I just had bad gas so I held off going t the ER even though I felt like I was dying! I finally went in because I was crying and puking my guts out from the pain and my appendix HAD burst!! Don't feel silly, serious things can happen and it's better to be safe then sorry!! I'm so thankful I finally went in when I did or my outcome could have been a lot worse!!

I'm sure they are used to it - but they still need to take things like that seriously, just in case!

This happened to me with my first pregnancy! Lol! I was in so much pain for hours I ended up going to the ER at like 2 in the morning. It was just gas you are not alone! I have never experienced gas pain that bad and I've never had it that bad since!

I went to urgent care for severe pain that I could barely make it out to my car to pick up DH from work! I called him crying because it hurt so bad. Urgent care couldn't find anything wrong. You are not the first, nor the last to have this happen and I'm sure most working in the ER see it all the time

Glad that it was nothing serious!
