What a day and night!

Yesterday Tristan was so upset - basically cried on and off for 24 hours. I think he had wind and a tummy upset, so I gave him a bit of colic medicine. He would not sleep at all and only nodded off briefly when I held him. If I put him in his moses basket, he would awaken immediately.

Typically, this was the evening that DH had arranged to go out with his friends, so I no break all day at all. During the night, Tristan did sleep a bit but woke up really early and would not go back to sleep. At least DH did some of the walking/rocking.

Luckily, Tristan and I managed to get a couple of hours just now - we have just woken up and he seems in a better mood - fingers crossed!

try a nice warm bath if you suspect wind as when ali had it really bad i swear he was much better after a bath and a belly massage with baby oil.

i hope it was a once off and you both get some sleep.
