The reality is that some people find some drugs acceptable, others don't. I don't like drugs as I have said already, because I choose to be in full control of my emotions and body. The same goes for alcohol before you jump all over me.

I find some of the comments above like people being 'prudish' because they choose not to take drugs or condone those who do really ridiculous. This isn't high school and peer pressure doesn't rule the roost. The reality is that many people who are antidrugs will think that taking drugs while a child is in the house (asleep or not) is not okay. I have never seen the attraction in escapism. Life here can be pretty great so I choose to get my 'highs' that way.

I agree. I dont like drugs and I dont take drugs. Judging people for not taking or had a try at taking them is not fair.
Like I said, My OH doesnt do it around my children or even when they are in bed. He smokes outside and they dont see what he does. If he chooses to smoke weed then what can I do to stop him? Im certainly not going to 'end' my relationship with him cos of it when in reality him smoking weed rarely comes into it.

I am not judging people who don't do it, as I don't myself. I do not judge people who have never done them either lol... good for them! I don't like drugs, and I prefer my OH not do them, but I do not agree with people being put down, or made out to be bad parents with sly comments etc...

everyone has their own make up, everyone is different and everyone deals with things differently. I am sick to death of reading shit on here. Yes drugs is an important subject, but again no one is promoting, just standing by our argument. Some of the women on here are the exact same about subjects like FF or BF, weaning early, CIO or other. If someone does something you dont agree with your like a set of witches waiting to pounce.....

Thats exactly what you have just done now!!! Out of my whole post, you only took notice of 2 things. And i am the one not helpin this be a balanced discussion??!! I didn't say YOU were pathetic or that YOU were a witch but if your having to defend yourself on it......maybe you are!!!

No. I have come onto the thread after being outside playing with my daughter all morning and saw that you quoted me, so I repsonded. Why would I respond to someone else? They didn't quote me. When you quote someone and say that women are acting like a 'bunch of witches' then of course they are going to respond.

Sly digs and comments are totally unnecessary. I didn't realise that in order to respond to a post on here you had to address every single comment that is made in a post. Did it ever enter your brain that I only responded to the parts that I have issue with? Probably not because then you would not have the opportunity to argue.
