ok so i go for my GTT yesterday at 8.45am
had my 1st blooods done, drank the vile drink that made me want to vomit then at 10.45 had 2nd bloods done
went to desk to inform them that i had an appt for consultant written down also and while there was no time given to me that usually i do what im having done then just book in to see him
she looks at the computer and says "im sorry but your not booked to see him today, just let me have a word"
so she comes back and says yes he will see you if you want to take a seat but you may have a little wait...................
little wait?!?!? i waited nearly 3 hours to go in and be told he didnt actually need to see me for anything and that hes sorry they wasted my time
i was starving and absolutely shattered by the time i got out at 2:30
