I'm 5 weeks away but I have the strongest gut feeling that this baby will come before due date 24th sept.
What area some of your very early labour signs ?

I think everyone's different.

Personally I had no symptoms, never had a single BH, had a sweep booked with the MW on the Wednesday afternoon, which was unsuccessful as she said that I wasn't anywhere near ready.

My first sign of labour was my waters breaking at 5am the following morning

Nesting nesting and more nesting!! The day before I went into labour, bought 6 bottles of bleach, used 4 of them and practically cleaned my whole house with a cocktail stick!! After Macie was born I thought back to that day of cleaning and realised that i had a really unsettled feeling the whole day. I didn't realise it at the time though, i just felt uneasy. Not sure how else to describe it!

My first sign was my waters breaking, I felt a popping sensation and then 30 seconds later my first contraction.

I had no signs at all and then the day before my due date woke up with a niggling lower back ache that wouldn't go away, had my baby at 26 minutes past midnight on his due date

I've been hearing about this. Exhausted as I am and as much sleep as I'm lacking; I have been cleaning the house since 7:30 this morning. Though it would be a surprise to have anything happen today because my body isn't experiencing anything out of the ordinary. I gave myself some cramping from the cleaning (and a small pain too) but that's it. Baby's been kicking for the past 3 hours now.

I kind of thought the nesting would be a gradual process that would build up over the weeks prior to giving birth but i went a bit OTT with the cleaning the day before!! The unsettled feeling I had, I didn't realise i had it at the time. It was my mothers birthday the day before she was born and both my parents told various people that I wouldn't b long as i "had the look" what ever that was, 5 hours later my waters broke and Macie was born at 16.16 the next day.
As for your cleaning, it could be what most people get and be happening over the next few weeks so don't get your hopes up for an early delivery.
Keep an eye out for you mucous plug too, I lost the whole lot on the morning before I went into labour. Good luck, it's such an exciting experience but u won't think so at the time! :haha:

For me it was wanting dh to be nearby. He had been sleeping in the spare room on and off because I was sleeping so badly towards the end but the last night I was home before going into hospital I asked him to sleep in the same bed as me. I wanted him nearby. I had a 'feeling' as well that things were going to happen soon (I guess anyone could have told me that mind - I was 41+6 giving birth!!).
