:hi: Everyone

I have got just under a year to wait until we TTC and would love to buy some books to really swot up on prenatal care and things, (secretly i wouldn't mind reading one about the whole pregnancy and what to expect even though i am a while off!)

What books have you all been reading? Is 11 months too soon to read up on what to expect when your expecting?:paper:

TCOYF (Taking Charge of Your Fertility) is a great one to read before TTC. Also, if you are planning on having a med free birth there are some great books about a natural pregnancy and birth out there.

The people who wrote What to Expect When You're Expecting also wrote a book called What to Expect BEFORE You're Expecting. I recommend reading that

Zita West's 'Guide to Getting Pregnant' has been the most helpful. It really explains fertility and all the things that go into it (nutrition, health, stress levels), and I felt so much more prepared for TTC. If you have any interest in natural birth (or even if you don't, it's still awesome), Ina May Gaskin's 'Guide to Childbirth'.

I haven't actually read anything but I do have What to Expect Before You're Expecting on hold at my library.

I should pay a visit to the library, but I'm too lazy to go there and then have to return it. I'll just wait til we have money for the book store and just buy it haha

I just read The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant by Jean Twenge, I really enjoyed it. It only came out in April of this year so all of the info in it is really up to date. Its also pretty funny.

I actually just read this great book that's called Pregnancy Sucks. After reading that, surprisingly I still want to go through with this :haha: I liked it a lot, as it wasn't all about having a perfect pregnancy, it had a lot of real life scenerios.

Thanks guys those books sound good especially the funny one. I haven't thought about borrowing anything from the library, don't think i could even find my library card!

I think im just going to order some off the internet when i get paid. Sod it! :happydance:
