So if its wrong to cater to childrens individual needs then what sort of a society are we living in? Not a nice one in my opinion like 'Oh is doesn't matter if Jonny is a vegetarian he has to eat meat cos we don't cater... and Sally, doesn't matter if she's allergic to tomatoes we don't cater to individuals needs." I love individuality and we should cherish and nuture it, it is the spice of life and keeps life interesting. I definitely don't agree that it is something we should wipe out all together to have a boring uniform society.

Im saying everybodys individual needs are important. If they arent going to cater for all, then they shouldnt do it for anybody! Who the hell said they were trying to wipe out individuality?? You're just stating the obvious there. I get you're passionate about this thread but there's is no need to start getting rude about things.

This is a very contraversial thread in my opinion. Yes I feel very passionately about it. I'm not trying to offend anyone or be rude but I do feel offended by the things people are writing which are untrue. But I suppose if you don't know about something you might speculate and believe what you read in crappy racist newspapers.

The only people being called racist or supporting racism are the writers at The Daily Mail. And i agree!

You dont need to cater for EVERY child but if theres quite a few muslim children then it makes sense to make meat halal. Though if my child had a severe allergy I would pack a lunch for them. My mum did that for me with my egg allergy.

Well, we did not have veggie options or really an options at my school.

We had like...Taco Tuesday and just plain crap anyways.
