I know this is wierd but when I think about actually being PG and raising a baby, I see 2! I dont really have a strong family history, my grandma was a twin and had sisters that were twins, but other than that nothing. I have strange cycles so who knows if i release a couple eggs at a time or if different hormone surges can cause a split. Can you tell I have thought this through quite a bit? And when I think of names I always think of two that go together....

Is it strange that I think that? Am I just hoping or do you think there is something to it? What do you guys see in your baby future? Girls with kids were your predictions right??

I always said from a really young age ( and been told by 2 fortune tellers I went to) that I'd have 3 boys

we have 2 boys :) and trying for a third. Would love another boy :) not fussed if a girl x

I've always seen myself having 5, would love a massive family. First twins, boy and girl called Dylan and Imogen, then a little boy called Maison.. Not sure after that. Would like to adopt as well for sure.
But honestly i'd be happy with boys or girls :flower:
xxx

I've always seen myself having at least 2 kids (DH wants 3), a boy first and then 2 girls if we have 3. However the gender makes no difference to me as long as our babies are healthy and happy!

I always see myself as not being able to have any:cry:
Prehaps its just fear:shrug:

I always saw myself with twins even when I was young. I think it would be easier to have one at a time though...would love to have one boy and adopt 2 girls!

Hi everyone! This is a great topic. Some of us can only dream right now. :)

I've always imagined having at least one of each bio and adopting one or two as well. However, I expected to start much earlier as well so I dunno. Plus large families cost. We would love to have at least two.

I honestly don't have any idea of what I want. I know when I was little, since I've wanted to be a mother since I was about 5 years old, I wanted 3 or 4 kids. Since getting with my OH - I've changed my goals. He already has two children - a 6 year old and an 8 year old and he always thought he was done. He definitely wants to have more kids with me because he knows I want them so bad, but he always said, he got the two children he wanted so any others would be a bonus. I honestly don't care about the sex - sometimes I think I want a boy, sometimes a girl. We only have one girl in the family (my brother's child) and 7 boys so I'll probably end up with a boy, which I'm thinking I want first. Whenever I think about my first baby I think about the name I chose for a boy. My OH isn't too sure about the boy thing, since he's used to the two girls, but I'm sure he'd get used to it! Right now I'd welcome either.

From the time I was twelve or so, in every dream I've always had a little boy first. So I always assumed I would. However, whenever I talk about getting pregnant with #1, I now always slip and say "her". So who knows? I'd love to be able to have 3 -4 children. That's my goal, but only having eight years to have them, who knows how far I'll get. Four seems unlikely unless I come up with twins along the way.

Babyhopes I think we all have that fear until we actually conceive. I know I have thought about it for years. That was a big reason why we stopped preventing. I did not want to be trying to figure out what was going on while my biological clock was winding down! Have you been trying since you came of the depo 18 months ago?

Ladies it was great to hear your stories I am glad to hear I am not the only one who has specifics in their head about this!
